Why people visit restaurants? To enjoy good food and quality time with family and friends. But what if both are ruinedânot just by bad food but also by the owner's terrible attitude?
We ordered appetizers and main courses, with one appetizer being recommended by the restaurant. That recommended dish came with half-cooked masala, making it inedible. The Pav Bhaji had burnt pav and the bhaji didnât even taste like bhaji, though it was somewhat okay.
When the main course arrived, the naan was cold, the Kadai Paneer was completely unbalanced and the Malai Kofta was a disasterânothing like what it should be. The food was either tasteless, poorly prepared, or just disappointing.
I understand that mistakes happenâsometimes food may not turn out great, and thatâs okay. But a good restaurant acknowledges issues and tries to make things right. Here, that wasnât the case. Instead of understanding the concern we shocked by the ownerâs attitude. When we raised our concerns, she responded," Everyone has different taste" she means to say "This is what we serve; maybe the issue is with your taste" There was no courtesy, no concern, and not even a small adjustment for the food we could barely eat.
This is a newly opened restaurant and if this is their attitude now, what can customers expect in the future? Instead of valuing feedback, they dismiss it entirely.
We left with wasted food, wasted money, and wasted time. Extremely disappointingâdefinitely not...

We visited for ala carte lunch on a Thursday. Ordered a Crazy Goat" appetizer, Poori Sabzi/Bhaji, Onion Chilli Uthappam, Masala Chai and Masala Coffee, Rasmalai. We paid $61.5 total.
The appetizer arrived in 12 min, the tea and coffee in 16 and both the food items in 19-20 min. (The restaurant was empty for lunch other than 1 other solitary diner)
Both Chai and Coffee were good. 7-8/10 for us.
Poori Bhaji was decent. Poori was good, Bhaji is supposed to be mild, and this was, but could have had a little more flavour. 6/10
The Onion Uthappam was good (& spicy), the accompanying sambar was decent. 7/10
The Rasmalai was wonderful, not too sweet, one of the best we've had in recent memory. 9/10
The Crazy Goat - the goat was tender but it was SPICY. Overall 6-7/10. We don't mind a bit spicy food once in a while, but we are below the Indian average I'd guess for spice level. We told the server we'd appreciated a little warning but he said apparently it is common knowledge that "Crazy = spicy". Now in retrospect that kinda made sense, but we don't know that this is actually canon
The server himself was very attentive and courteous.
Oh and we were told Thursday evenings all...
Read moreAbsolutely phenomenal Indian food in Cary NC This is hands-down the best Indian restaurant Iâve visited in the area. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy yet elegantâperfect for a casual dinner or a special night out.
We ordered the butter chicken, lamb biryani, and garlic naan, and everything was cooked to perfection. The spices were rich and authentic, and the flavors were incredibly well-balanced. You can really taste the difference in quality and freshness. If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine, this place delivers.
Also tried their vegetarian options like paneer tikka masala and chana masala, and both were packed with flavor. Their menu has a great variety of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free Indian dishes, which is hard to find at other Indian spots.
The staff was knowledgeable and happy to explain the dishes to us. I also appreciated how clean and well-maintained the restaurant was.
Whether youâre craving a quick Indian takeout or looking for a top-rated Indian dining experience, this is the place to go. Highly recommend for anyone searching âbest Indian food near meâ or â**top Indian restaurant in Cary, NC.â Weâll definitely be coming...
