Wendy's — Restaurant in Cary

2024: 2 years have passed since my last review... This location has the WORST staff still. No one wore name tags. The cashier could not care one bit about my order. They didn't put bacon on my bacon double stack. I said this and the manager was annoyed I asked for my bacon. They did remake my food. They were also out of baked potatoes.

The food was hot and delicious! The staff on the other hand was aweful. No one cared that my mobile order that I made inside the restaurant took over 20 minutes... The only person that showed an actual care was the manager, which I would mention by name but she did not have a name tag on. I went to the counter to ask for pepper for a baked potato and I had to ask for it as no one came up to the counter. There was a worker that did not have his mask on the entire time he was inside the restaurant. As we left the restaurant approximately at 5:50 p.m. October 3rd 2021, a gentleman tried to get into the restaurant to get his order corrected, and the door was locked. We have lived in Cary for 10 years and have always enjoyed eating here. It is rare to find an establishment that is willing to help someone out. Yesterday my wife was in a hurry and went in and ordered some food so our sons could eat before footbal practice. 2 hangry kids and a frantic mom in a hurry, something was bound to happen. she forgot her debit card and didnt know what to do. She called me to read off my card number to the manager who informed her they do not do that. My wife offerd to come back and pay later, at this point most places would of just said NO, but the manager said just go ahead and take it. Most other restaurants would of just taken their loss and thrown the food away. We were not asking for a handout, had no intention on this happening, kids are hangry and starting to run late for practice. She did take the food and did return as agreed to pay. I am sharing this and hope the Manager is praised and not condemned for their actions. I'm sure it was a tough position to be in to have to make the call on what to do but my family and I are truly greatful and will continue visiting this Wendys because they have always given us good food and ...

The worst service I have ever had at a Wendy's. The food was ice cold, ordered a 4 and 6 piece chicken nugget, both only had 4 in each box. Went back to drive up window and told the manager and she was arguing with me that it wasn't cold, they were just made , no they weren't even Luke warm, they were ice cold, the nuggets, fries and burger.

She argued with me( after I gave her the nuggets back)as she was shaking the boxes at me, holding them up with attitude, this is a box for 6 nuggets and this one is for 4( repeating herself as she kept shaking the boxes at me)even though there was 4 in both boxes and usuallythey don't take the food back( whatever that meant), and I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT 6 MINUTES FOR FRESH ONES, with attitude, like it was a hassle.

I told her she was extremely rude, just give me the cold nuggets back which I got ripped off the other nuggets, and asked her, her name and she told me, " I'm not telling you my name, slammed the window shut as I was talking and literally ran away from the window.
