I am a small business owner, and my wife is a retail manager. We often stop here on our way from Tucson to Phoenix which is monthly. You have a problem with this location. The attractive young lady with 3” nails, not only had trouble handing us our small blizzards, but one of her squared tipped nails scratched me. She was clueless, unapologetic, and unaware of her surroundings. Her customer service skills were extremely lacking. She either didn’t care or was extremely overwhelmed. It took 15 minutes to get our orders after we waited at the order speaker for 5 mins. We get that workforces are being stretched in most every field right now, especially retail of any kind. Both of our blizzards were melted and lacking in ingredients. We asked that our blizzards not have lids for a reason. Didn’t matter. This young lady not only put lids on but scraped the blizzards so that the ice cream did not exceed the height of the cup lip. The lids were the type that stand taller than the cup so, that wasn’t the problem we expected it to be. The point here is that the young lady did not follow our instructions at all. We witnessed half a dozen folks behind us leave the line and back out and leave. We con only surmise that they went to the other DQ in Casa Grande to get the ice cream yummies. If you’re smart, you own both DQ locations. This is not about getting anyone in trouble. Rather, it is about this particular young lady getting the training or support she needs to do her job to the best of her ability. I have a very good friend who owns a DQ in Tucson and used to own a large handful in Southern California and I can tell you that his staff is way better trained and equipped to deliver great customer service no matter how busy it gets. At the end of the day, that’s the only thing that sets one business apart from a competitor, is customer service. I won’t even get into the drive-through corner that is tore up because of its angle and limited space to maneuver to get lined up so one can reached the window . Tried to post this on DQ's website both corporately and for this location with no luck. It allows you to fill everything out but wont allow the "Submit" button to work. We wish you good luck in resolving these issues...
Read moreYesterday we were returning to Tucson from Phoenix where we attended a funeral. We had not been through Casa Grande for several years so took the first exit to drive through town. We decided to stop at this Dairy Queen before getting back on the freeway. We walked in and waited for another customer to give her order. The kid behind counter was leaning on it as if he needed it to stay upright. No hello, just "what can I get ya". We ordered and after giving us the price for a blizzard and a cherry slush, we about fell over. They need to change the above dollar sign to two instead of one. The kid quickly gave my husband his slush then disappeared to the back. I stood at the counter waiting. Finally a young girl came out and said they would be right with me. I told her I already ordered and was waiting for my blizzard. She told me that the kid would get it after he cooked the food for the other customers. I asked her if he couldn't multitask and she said, well not if you don't want the food to burn! I told her he should be able to do the blizzard while food cooking and she walked away. I watched him stand at the fryer to watch the onion rings cook. After about another five minutes the girl brought out my blizzard. We go often to a location here in Tucson and the ice cream is always peaked above the lip of the cup. This one was about an inch below the top. The next time we go north we will not be stopping here . Would have better off to across the street and get the 99 cent ice cream cone from the QT! We will also be sure to tell others when going through...
Read moreWorst Dairy Queen I have ever entered! I was tempted to walk out even after paying with no desire for a refund! The health department needs to come in and shut this location down! First the clear and present cross contamination of allergy based products was extremely present! I ordered a cheesecake blizzard and an Oreo blizzard for my husband BOTH of which had very clear peanut butter tastes when neither one had ANY peanuts/peanut butter in them! The uncleanliness of the blizzard/ice cream station is not noticeable until you have moved from already paying , they had not been cleaning the mixer in which they mix blizzards due to all the residue and build up on the blades , there were bugs all inside of the refrigerator in the lobby with the dilly bars. The customer service is AWFUL. Over all if I could give this place 0 stars I would ! This location needs to be shut down immediately. Someone is going to go into anaphylactic shock one day due to negligence of employees, I would be shocked if no one has! I am extremely tempted to call the health department . This restaurant is a law suit waiting to happen! The most sorry excuse of a Hospitality based establishment I have...
