I love the idea of this place I really do! However, when I visited with my 21 month old daughter it was insanely busy. There was only one barista/employee for the entire place. They were out of almost everything on the menu as well.
As we played in what felt like a very unsanitary environment given that we are in the midst of a pandemic, kids were licking everything and there was food and trash all over and not a single person able to go around and be sanitizing or cleaning as the day goes by. There were also a few questionable toys that seemed very dangerous. Very tiny plastic bears that any child could choke on, small wooden toys that were definitely choking hazards and the stairs on the play house are very steep with no safety for kids at all. One good push and a child could fall and be seriously injured. Not to mention they do not have a liability wave in any capacity so anything could happen and they will be 100% liable. I loved the concept and my daughter had a great time, but I was stressed and could not relax in...
Read moreI've heard good things about this place so I decided to make the 20 min drive with my 3 year old. We got there and the sign said at capacity, but a mom and child walked out so we walked in. The barista seemed a little overwhelmed, I can't blame her either, it was busy and she was the only one working. My son had a lot of fun, which is why I gave 4 stars. My coffee was ok, I had a vanilla latte but it seemed more of a plain latte. I'm not going to blame the establishment for the mess though. It's kinda what happens when you have like 20 toddlers and babies running around. Toys were everywhere, no real organization, you can tell the toys have been well loved. It was loud for me, and kind of chaotic. Again, I don't blame the establishment, one worker it's kinda hard to control how many people are in and out. Watched a lot of kids put things in their mouths, and the barista was too busy by herself to sanitize anything. My 3 year old wants to come back, but I'm not...
Read moreCute place! As a parent of a crawler though there were concerns I had that probably wouldn’t be an issue for older kids. Like how some of the trim wasn’t properly attached to the walls, and even in the “crawler corner” some of the wainscoting wasn’t nailed down well (rough edges, nails not in all the way). And I get that kids are messy but I wish there was a separation between the “eating” space and the “playing” space like I’ve seen in other play cafes, I wanted to let my baby play in the bigger open area but the floor was really gross with spilled Goldfish crackers and other food crumbs, so I wasn’t comfortable letting him play on the ground. The older kids who were there seemed to be having a great time though! Maybe we’ll just have to come back when my...
