Don't trust the hours on this or any other website, management apparently just makes them up as they go. Tried to come in on a Saturday a month or so ago and there was a sign on the door saying the dining room was closed. Ok, whatever, stuff like this happens so I ignore it. I try coming back again today, and once again there's a sign on the door saying the dining room is already closed (at 2 pm) with no advance warning and that the drive-through is closing at 5, well before the end of the dinner rush. So now I'm 0/2 in trying to go here well within their stated hours. For a large, national chain this is totally unacceptable, and it's not happening at any of the other area locations. If you actually can't find a few employees to manage the dining room when everyone else is able to, you a.) probably have a terrible place to work, and b.) NEED TO CHANGE THE HOURS DISPLAYED SO CUSTOMERS AT LEAST KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT.
So anyways, one star for incompetent management that has caused me to waste two trips driving here.
PS - Panera has some of the worst coffee on earth (it's actually shockingly bad for a cafe), which is perhaps why they've had to resort to a cheap monthly subscription for it. Not specific to this...
Read moreI’ve been pretty disappointed in this place lately. Yes the food is always good. That why I keep coming back but the manager has not been doing her job. She is very rude and does not make the customer happy. I should have taken her name but she has blond almost white looks dyed hair with a lot of makeup. The 1st time I was in there they didn’t have what I wanted so I chose something else and the girl that rang me up said she put a little extra cookie in bag for trouble then that manager lady came and took it out. Then I went in today and ordered my food 5 min before the next lady and the said to me it was sold to the lady the just rang up even though that one was mine. The manager came up very mean and gave me my money back but offered no treat for the trouble. The recipe shows the should. 2nd time they messed my order up and wouldn’t give me what I want with no sorry or anything to make things right. Horrible manager. Read moreI'd like to make this zero stars. Had dinner at this Panera Bread in Grand Rapids, was very disappointed. We placed our order, it came to $27.08. Gave the cashiers $30.08 they could not make change. One got out her phone, the other was using her fingers to figure out our change back. I said "change back is $3.00, all you need to do is count 27 up to 30, you get 3. They both gave me a deer in the headlight confusion look and shock that I told them how to make change.
Then our food arrived, my husband ordered a tuna sandwich, the slices of tomato and onions were both thicker individually and larger than the scoop of tuna on the sandwich. Wish I could post the picture I took of sandwich. Very disappointed, this is our first and last visit to this location.
