Title: A Taste of Cuba in the Heart of the City - Rays Cuban Restaurant Review

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 out of 5 stars)

Review:

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rays Cuban Restaurant, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. Located in the heart of the Fern Park this gem of a restaurant brings the vibrant flavors of Cuba right to your plate.

From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, with vibrant colors and lively Cuban music playing in the background, transporting you to the streets of Havana.

Now, let's talk about the food. Rays Cuban Restaurant truly captures the essence of Cuban cuisine. The menu is diverse, offering a wide range of classic Cuban dishes that will tantalize your taste buds. I wanted to try every traditional appetizer! But i noticed the empanadas were perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with a delicious blend of seasoned beef and spices. It was a great way to kick off the meal.

For my main course, my sister got the traditional black beans and ropa vieja a classic Cuban dish consisting of slow-cooked shredded beef in a savory tomato sauce. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the sauce had just the right amount of tanginess. It was served with fluffy white rice and sweet plantains, which complemented the dish perfectly. Each bite was a burst of flavors that left me craving for more.

To complete my dining experience, I couldn't resist trying their famous flan made to perfection, and I was not disappointed. It was the ideal accompaniment to my meal.

The service at Rays Cuban Restaurant was impeccable. The owners were attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to make recommendations. They were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu and provided excellent suggestions based on my preferences. And they made me feel like I am on vacation in Cuba. The genuine love and smiles from this couple radiated me to hurry and write this review.

Overall, Rays Cuban Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was lively w a speaker welcoming a good time and the service was top-notch. Whether you're a fan of Cuban cuisine or simply looking to try something new and exciting, this restaurant is a must-visit. I highly recommend Rays Cuban Restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable...

I had to kill a couple hours while my car's headliner was being repaired by Maitland Auto Upholstery, so the owner there recommended this Cuban Cafe if I was hungry. So off I sauntered on foot about a half mile to this cafe. Now, not only am I a novice on Cuban food, but I've never had a Cuban Sandwich before. There aren't too many Cuban restaurants in Northwest Arkansas. But, I tried their Cuban Specialty sandwich and it was great, the bread was crusty and hard like I've heard it should be, the sandwich was delicious and the sweet tea was delightfully refreshing. They will wait on you at the table, I had expected being so small a shop, I order at the counter and pick up, but nope, they took care of me like I was at a big restaurant. There is outside seating, but after my walk, the cool air was great. It must be a favorite with local Hispanic and folks from a Cuban heritage as there were several groups in there and the owners seemed to know them all. Worth the trip and the walk that day, I'll have to take my wife over there soon. Maybe I can try a different...

Came with mom to have lunch today, I ask for Cafe con Leche, when I got it, I really had Milk with Coffee, more milk than Coffee and you know when you really have a Cuban cafe con Leche, the caffeine is so strong and good! Not this one! I walk up to the young gentleman and ask him to darken a little more my coffee and he was so rude! He told me I have ask for a coffee with milk! Very sarcastic! Yes I did but you game me more milk than coffee! He walked away to give me more coffee! overflow my cup with cold coffee on top and send me my way! so rude I will never come back! This gentleman needs to get another job, obviously he hates being in there! Please your customers! stop skimping on your caffeine! It was almost an Americuba coffee you better off going to have a real Cuban coffee at ZaZa Cuban restaurant they do know...

Was initially inspired by the racks of freshly made Cuban bread. So few places make their own. On the particular day I went they were a little in the weeds as I was behind a nine top. So, while service was slow, eventually the Cuban sandwich came and it was good. A little heavy on the cheese for my liking, but not bad. The french fries that came with were a wilted mess, cooked long before they were served. The people were nice but they seemed harried. I'm sure, eventually, I will stop in again and give it another go. But then again, there are so many other restaurants to try. I hope they get this figured out. Anyone willing to go to the lengths of making their own bread obviously cares about quality. They just gotta put it all together.
