This shouldn’t be called a bakery. It’s a gift shop with overpriced sweets. love supporting small business owners in the area we live, I tried- I really tried to love this place. I’m a huge fan of macarons, and pastries and bakeries in general. I’ve been to Europe over 5 times, and have had many great Macarons in Paris.

The young lady who rang me up was very sweet! I’m giving service 3 stars because of her. The owner was not as warm or inviting as I’d assume. Preoccupied, and did not seem very friendly. I understand people have bad days. We all do. We went for the grand opening and it was a similar vibe, and were giving out 1/2 of a macaroon that was crumbled up, but I thought I’d try again months after their opening.

If you have a sweet tooth and want to buy a couple, you can’t. They are sold in a pack of 5 for $18. If the taste, quality and presentation was better, it may be worth it. I had to spit out three of the first ones I tried, then noticed one was damaged with what looks like a finger that had been through it. I was most excited to try the lavender, and it was hard as a rock. Not delicate and chewy as expected. They were beautifully decorated though! Really pretty glitter and sprinkles! 5 stars for looks!

Additionally, they sell week-old scones for 1/2 off. I knew it wouldn’t be fresh, unfortunately it was even edible, even if they were free I’d pass! The muffins were also stale. They recommend to order online. I’m not ordering one muffin or scone days in advance to assure they're edible.

To my disappointment, despite the huge bakery sign out front, it’s more of a gift shop with some items in cases.

I really tried to like this place, I’m sure others love it. There were just too many things “off” to warrant a trip back.

Updated review- Tried again as they have cinnamon rolls and breads! They were closing earlier than stated online. They were out of the cinnamon rolls and no I’m not placing an order days ahead for 1 pastry. Also, the bread was hard as a rock. The owner is still just not very warm and friendly. And what is with her muscle shirts? I just don’t think they’ll survive. Overpriced and...

I too wanted to love this place. I'm sorry to say that I was not impressed. I went in around noon and although the menu boards listed all varieties of pastries, they didn't have scones, croissants, cinnamon rolls, or fresh breads. No Biscuits or gingerbread loaf. No rolls. What they had were Macarons. So if you love Macarons - I guess this is the place for you. I don't particularly like them so I didn't try them.

I ordered the snickerdoodle cookie (which was hard and overly sweet) and a couple of the brownies (which also felt stale and so dark that we didn't end up eating them) and a loaf of French bread. The French bread was $12 so I was expecting a very beautiful and tasty artisan bread, that is not what I got. It was hard without flavor. My bill for 1 cookie, 3 brownies and a loaf of bread was $30. Maybe Wednesdays are not the day to go?

I will say that the gift shop portion was very cute! Some very funny towels and pillows, which I almost bought.

I am in the area often because of the cleaners and grocery store. Here's hoping that in the future they have the items that are on the menu.

Edit: The reason I was disappointed about the missing bakery items is because they have menus posted on the walls listing these bakery items, but they didn't have...

It's not a full-service bakery, but I was fine with that and happy to buy some special treats for a macaron-loving family member. The macarons are very pretty and festive-looking. I don't eat macarons, so I asked the recipient to give me honest feedback after he had tried them. He regretted having to tell me they were on the dry side.

I wouldn't go back for more macarons, but I saw a couple of cute gift items there. I like to support small, local businesses, and I'd go back to check those out if the owner had made any effort with me for even the briefest time. She was chatting with someone already in the store when I got there, and her attention was fully on that person. Aside from brusquely taking my order and my money, she kept her attention on the other person and didn't engage with me. It was frankly rude, and I...

I came in to order a small gender reveal cake for a surprise reveal with just myself and my husband. Despite being very busy with lots of orders this week, Gretchen chatted with me. The timeline for a cake was a longer wait than I wanted so she suggested cookies instead. She had a whole plan in mind of how to use cookies and still make it special and a fun surprise for us. It turned out perfectly and the cookies were beautiful and delicious!! She even added a cute sign inside the box to make it extra clear :) I will definitely be back for other sweets in the future!

The fig and honey macaron was divine! Perfectly crunchy shell and soft filling on the inside. The owner, Gretchen, really lets her creativity shine through her fun flavor selection and cute decor. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in her creations. The Coke-a-cola cookie is out of this world. I took some of her caramels all the way back home to California. Service was friendly and prompt.
