I came in about a week after the grand opening. I mainly ordered sushi while I was there. The sushi is about a 4 out of 5, however it took a VERY long time to receive my orders. I was the only person there along with a handful of to go orders coming through. The staff is very friendly, overall really personable. After looking the menu over, I quickly noticed that they offer more Korean options than anything else, which is really cool since I was stationed in S Korean for a while. Last, the price seems a bit high for what you get. Maybe this is because they are new and in Castle Pines. I will update this review as time goes on since they are new and will likely do better in the near future.

Went in on Valentines Day and it was MUCH better. They had more staff, and shorter wait times. The food was really good, and fresh. We had 4 different specialty rolls, all were amazing. Hour + wait time on Bulgogi which ive been wanting to try for awhile. Next time I suppose.

Ok, I've been here at least 5 times now and love it. They hired more people so the wait time is much shorter. I like coming here for special occasions or simply just because im in the mood for...

My wife and I don't get a lot of opportunities to dine out, but we had an occasion and an opportunity that resulted in us stopping at sushi and bowls for lunch. We've read the reviews, and I thought they were just hype. I was wrong! The food was excellent. We ordered a Colorado roll for an appetizer, and it was fantastic. For the main course, I ordered the spicy crunchy chicken and my wife ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl. I've had my fair share of Asian style crunchy chicken with some sort of sweet sauce and steamed rice, and this has got to be in the top 2 I've ever had. My wife also loved her teriyaki chicken bowl. It was loaded with lots of chicken and veggies, which was exactly what she was looking for. We thought the portions were large, and we both took food home. We did split a sushi roll for a starter, which left us with less room for our entrees though. Everything was fresh and delicious. We'll be going back or getting takeout now that we know about this hidden gem. The only reason I deducted a star from the atmosphere was because the music was a tad bit loud. It didn't bother us all that much, but it was something we...

A Pleasant Surprise at Sushi & Bowls

I recently visited Sushi & Bowls, a local sushi spot, without many expectations. However, from the moment I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience.

Food Quality and Variety

The food at Sushi & Bowls exceeded my expectations. Each dish showcased incredibly fresh ingredients, which is a testament to their commitment to quality. The sushi was expertly prepared, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Whether you're a sushi connoisseur or a newcomer, there's something on the menu to satisfy every palate.

Service

Service at Sushi & Bowls was another highlight of my visit. Despite being a local establishment, the service was exceptional. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made recommendations that complemented our choices perfectly, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Ambiance

The ambiance at Sushi & Bowls is cozy and inviting. It's clear that the owners have put effort into creating a welcoming environment for guests. The décor is tasteful yet unpretentious, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal with...

"If I could give more than 5 stars, I would." My wife and I came here after one of the other local restaurants had an excessive wait time. We've had this type of food before and have been to many different types of sushi/ramen restaurants, but this one tops everything we've had to date. All of the staff are extremely friendly and make plenty of jokes and ensure you have exactly what you need. If you need more sauce or anything, they do not hesitate to make sure you have it. As for the food, it is more than just out of this word. Everything just melts in your mouth, and you can taste every ingredient. I've never had a katsu dish where everything (and I mean everything) comes together so perfectly. The sauce, the meat, the cabbage, and the rice. Everything comes together swimmingly, leaving you full and satisfied. We absolutely can't wait to come back and will certainly be coming with empty stomachs. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant over any of the other locations, Asian type restaurants. You definitely get what you pay for here. Everyone here deserves a wholesome tip.

Usually we have fantastic service, but there was a new waitress. We arrived about 11:30 a.m., with no other customers in the restaurant. Within a few minutes, another couple arrived. It seemed they were friends with the waitress. She sat the couple right next to us. She spent time with them, taking their order first. The owner recognized us and stopped by to say hello - which was nice. The rolls were delicious as usual - Firecracker, Denver Roll, Lemon Roll. We were still hungry though so when she brought the check, we asked for one more roll (yellowtail roll). It was unfortunate that she did not ask us if we wanted something else, like most, before trying to have us leave an empty restaurant. We will be back, hopefully the server will recognize us and be a bit more attentive.

Such a gem of a restaurant! The korean lady serving us was so sweet. We had questions regarding our dietary restrictions and she was so patient with us and explained everything thoroughly. We like to avoid mirin/sake and cross contact with meat when eating sushi and she explained that they only use vinegar to season their rice and their meat and fish stations completely separate. 10/10 just for that! We ordered- 1.Spicy tuna rolls- 10/10 2.Castle pines rolls- 10/10, this was so good! If you are living in this area you must visit them or, like us, if you are just driving through Colorado on your way to see garden of the gods or something like that, you better stop and try it out! 10/10, definitely recommend 👌
