I'm guessing the Vietnamese food is good, but I wouldn't recommend for the Pad Thai specifically. A previous reviewer claimed it was the best they'd had in Denver. To that I respond: must have been the first time you had Pad Thai in Denver.
The dish wasn't offensive but it had no redeeming qualities. I ordered it to go and asked the guy to make it "super, super spicey...like spicier that you think might be legal to serve" and he responded saying that he was typing "super, super spicey" into the order. I also added extra chicken for something like $5-6 extra. My total OTD price including 15% tip was over $25, which is ~$4+ more than I've ever paid locally, for the same order.
The dish came with a spice level that I would consider medium basically everywhere else in the metro. And I could count the small bites of chicken using less than my fingers and toes (at first, couldn't see a single piece w/o digging under the noodles). I had about 8-10 bits of this and stopped - again, not because it was gross, but because it wasn't worth the calories.
This was based on one experience and I'm sure the rest of their food is fine/great, but I do not recommend the Pad Thai, and no matter how much spice or protein you're interested...
Read moreDang…. This place hits it on the nail, what an amazing hidden gem. I’ve always gone out of my way to get to Federal for good Vietnamese food, but this place blows a lot of them clear out of the water. It’s always so consistently delicious, clean, and my goodness the staff is so incredibly friendly.
The pho broth is just mouthwatering. So darn good, clean, and flavorful. You can taste the love and attention. You know it’s a damn good broth when you don’t feel the need to muck it up with sriracha or oyster sauce. It really makes you feel like you’re at someone’s grandmother’s house for dinner.
My family and I always get their Vietnamese egg rolls and mussels for appetizers, and there are no complaints. Just empty plates and shells every single time! We’ve also veered off of our regular order at times and had their sesame chicken and noodle bowls. The sesame chicken is better than a lot of Chinese places to be completely honest.
If I have to add a complaint, I just wished their napkins weren’t so thin, and that’s me seriously reaching to find an imperfection.
This place will forever be on my top 10 favorites, reason why my back will remain big, but my...
Read moreI love pho and this place has very tasty pho. I have been enjoying pho since I was a teenager and theirs is really really good. The broth has such a delicious flavor. The meat was tender and flavorful and nice cuts. And even the noodles were really good, sometimes that can be lackluster because they are very plain but not here. Even just the noodles were impressive. Sadly they are understaffed. So the server was the only one working in the front of house. I feel bad because we ordered a lot of stuff but hopefully I tipped well enough to make up for it. Haha. Everything was delicious. Sadly they were out of boba but the drinks were still good even without the best part lol. I got lychee, so delish. Overall I would recommend this to any fans of pho. It is the best in the area I have found. I will definitely be back. And if you are looking for a job maybe you...
