Absolute worst McDonald's experience I've ever had. I've been to at least 100 different locations all across the country and around the world, this was the bottom of the bottom. First, the prices are sky high. I get that costs are rising, but here they must be on a rocket ship. $25+ for two combo meals? The first mistake was that they gave us one beverage incorrectly, and for the other, the mix was way off. (You aren't allowed to serve yourself) After getting that fixed, the next issue was the fries, and let me tell you: I LIVE for McDonald's fries. That perfect, salty, crunchy bite is all I need some days. This was not one of those days. What we got was a cold, wet pile of slop devoid of any salt. I seriously don't know how you mess up fast food fries this bad. They were not warm and yet still dripping with grease. They had no crunch at all and instead were floppy and chewy. (Trust me, the picture doesn't do justice to how bad these fries are) After scavenging through two large fries we came up with about a dozen fries to share between the two of us. I would have complained, but the service was so slow to get the drinks fixed, that we decided to cut our losses and threw them all away. The only kind of nice thing I can say is that the Big Mac was acceptable. Stay. Far. Away. P.S. I also ordered no pickles on my burger. At one point, we overheard two employees yelling at eachother about weather or not to put pickles on (presumably my) order. It may have ruined the dining atmosphere, but hey, at least they got...

They moved to fresh beef for some of their burgers and this has put a wrinkle in the fast part of their designation of being fast food. Getting two quarter pounder burgers becomes a matter of waiting at the window for several minutes before being forced to park and wait more. A total of twelve minutes and thirty two seconds on average across numerous locations and thirty trips that were timed. The highest wait was twenty three minutes and the lowest was just under eleven. This is wait time from pulling up to the serving window so does not include time from order or paying. It's not unusual for order to pickup to be in excess of seventeen minutes. This often results in cold and/or poorly filled fries as well. The resulting burgers are often lackluster in flavor with the tang of something I can't quite place leaving a disturbing aftertaste at times.
The common excuse is that it's fresh and cooked at order time, however their main competitor that has been doing everything (not just some things) with fresh beef cooked at order time does not suffer from this issue, with the wait time at the serving window averaging under three minutes there.
Overall, I'd recommend avoiding their quarter pound patties until they figure out the process better. You can still get all of their tenth pound patties (like on a Big Mac) quickly because they are stored in a tray after being cooked from frozen some time ago. Unless they ran out in the tray, in which case expect to wait, but that has always...
