Arby's — Restaurant in Castle Shannon

First due to no one wanting to work this location still has dining room closed. So we went to the drive thru and ordered we tried to order a chicken sandwich they said they didn't have any chicken to make it. So we ordered the 2 for 6 dollar regular roast beef sandwiches and curly fries. Sorry we do not have any curly fries we were told. What no chicken no curly fries? Ok so we settle again and get crinkle fries instead.Now to order drinks I wanted a vanilla milkshake... Guess what ? They didn't have that either the machine was down apparently. So I ordered an iced tea instead. We also ordered some chicken nuggets as well. Ok so we got our order at the drive thru window we drive away. Let's start with the iced tea it tasted kind of rank like it had been sitting a long time it was horrible. Next we get the crinkle fries that were just soaked with oil they had been dropped in the fryer too many times to reheat them I guess. You could squeeze a fry and see the oil dripping ok so now the tea and the fries are a loss at this point. So we move on the the chicken nuggets they were so dry and hard almost like they had been dehydrated yes they were that bad. By now my hopes of having a good sandwich are fading away. Opened a sandwich it was perfect I was surprised after the other food sucked. Ok now open the second sandwich the bun is all mushy it appeared that this sandwich was made way earlier than the other one and had been sitting who knows how long. I generally like Arby's but things there seem to be going down hill because no one...

Stopped by for a quick meal and was pleasantly impressed by some things, and not by others. The staff was great! The food - so so.

Let's start with the staff. I have the Arby's app and, being a Tuesday, I got a coupon I was going to use. But, for whatever reason, I was having trouble figuring out how to enter the order in to the app properly. The employee behind the counter saw that I was struggling and offered to help by applying the coupon at the cash register. He went to the shift leader and got the approval to do so and saved me from the problems I was having. He also made sure he got my order right and helped me and other customers in other ways. Five star service for sure!!!

The food was a slightly different story. I tried the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. The chicken pieces had been cooked a while before so when I bit into them I noticed they were actually room temperature. The bigger issue for me was the wrap though. It was very chewy to the point of almost being tough. Not sure if it also sat out for too long of what, but it was almost unpleasant. Final comment, and a positive one, the buffalo sauce was actually pleasantly spicy.

Ordered a two for 699 deal. The fish sandwich seemed all right. When a bit into the roast beef cheddar got to the middle of a sandwich and bit into something that felt like little bits of rock. I am a cancer survivor and I hope I don’t get sick cause I will sue his branch never in my life that I bought a sandwich from Arby’s And bit into rock not only that they tried to cheat me out of four dollars and change and I told the cashier just told me it is what it is. I said no it ain’t you’re short in my change. I know how to add another guy came over and fixed it but the main guy that was taking the orders act like he didn’t want to do nothing now I gotta take this sandwich back and I hope I don’t get seriously sick Cause it felt like a little rocks in it.
