I used to go here once a week for about 4 years. It's a good place to eat, but if you upset the staff in any way, they will tamper with your food. If you have PTSD from 2 years in the war zone like me and have a problem not looking around the room alot, this place is not for you. I even told waitresses my problem in the past. Read moreGood food, atmosphere lacking. I had a spinach tomato provolone omelet with fruit and bacon. My wife had pancakes and scrambled eggs with sausage and home fries. Everything tasted really good! The sausage wasn't my favorite but the bacon was excellent. The fruit cup had a nice variety of fruit and the pancakes had a nice chew to them. Eggs were fluffy and delicious. Home fries were pretty good too, not too soft. The restaurant could use some better lighting. We were in the corner and it was a little dark. A seat by the window may be a little nicer....
Read moreExcellent service, food was served hot, prompt and delicious. Drink refills hit the table before my eyes could register it was happening and the decor, while dated and all over the place, made the experience so "perfectly tiny diner" that it didn't matter.
Price was on par with a Dennys but the quality was an order of magnitude better. And, though not as easy to quantity, nothing tasted artificial or corporate.
It seemed to lean into its imperfections and wear them with pride, which made the experience all the better.
