Peet's Coffee — Restaurant in Castro Valley

Unfortunately, my rating and experience with the CV Peets location is not about the coffee, its about the experience, the wait is on average long, finally you are waiting as the next customer and overhearing the cashier is giving out her phone number to a apparently regular customer during ordering while taking on more time discussing personal business ( I know this from all the detail the long conversation going on at the counter). while I am waiting in line behind. On another note, I hope management holds meetings with their staff to discuss not only to be mindful of the customer service to keeping the line moving...but the safety of their young workers as in this case giving out their personal information and their phone numbers even if the customers is a regular..you don't know anything about their background. It just good staff business...

From time to time 2 elderly men sit and the benches in front of the store and tell people to leave make racist remarks tell people they'll have them arrested just recently they had told racist African American jokes in the presence of two African American people I wish the management would do something about this until then I will avoid that. Peets location. The sad thing is they're going to say something to the wrong person and something bad will happen and innocent people will be hurt in the process I hope this is read by someone in management to take care of this in a timely fashion no one should be able to sit out in front of a public location like that and act like they own and or can make you mad without consequence it is...

This Peet’s has the rudest cashew service I am disabled, I suffered a stoke after Covid vaccine in7/2021. My disability is not noticeable my brain was injured by stroke. It’s not an excuse you need to treat everyone with common courtesy. The older lady with tattoo sleeve and I believe a nose ais not friendly. I couldn’t read the labels on my coffee and so was another old lady I was trying to help.
