As a delivery driver, this is by far the worst Whataburger to deliver from—or even order food from. They show little to no regard for delivery drivers' time, which directly affects the customers ordering from here. Unlike other Whataburgers in the area, this location does not allow delivery drivers to use the drive-thru. The reason? The employees' inability to properly manage the process, leading to orders being stolen.
This forces delivery drivers to go inside, which is significantly slower than the drive-thru, and often results in being ignored. For example, I recently had an order where the supervisor instructed an employee to prepare the drinks. However, as soon as the supervisor walked away to handle other tasks, the employee decided to chat with a friend who came into the store, completely ignoring me and the customer’s order I was there to pick up. Only when the supervisor returned almost 10 minutes later and reminded her that this order was the top priority did she finally make the drinks.
While the supervisor handled the situation well, the employees here are unprofessional and inefficient. This location needs to reconsider its policy on drive-thru use for delivery drivers and implement better order management practices. Allowing delivery drivers to use the drive-thru—like every other Whataburger—would solve a lot of these issues. Read moreI went through the drive thru 3-15-25 at exactly 1:57pm. The girl who took my order was very sweet. I order a small fry and two large cups of ice. As you can see on the receipt it says "special" and on the drive thru screen it said "kitchen message". I pulled up to the first window and there was a girl with too much makeup about to leave but once she saw me pull up she huffed and rolled her eyes and took my payment. I then went to the second window where a dark skin girl handed me two medium cups of water. I told her i ordered two large cups of ice. She paused and looked at me like I was the biggest inconvenience of her life. She took the cups back and turned to her co workers and kept saying "can you get me two large cups of ice!" And then the two other white girls behind the window said "she should've ordered it before not now" and then they started talking about another customer and how "they had to get her to change her mind because of the wait" then the dark skin girl went to give me the cups of ice but the lid wouldn't close so she rolled her eyes and dumped half of the ice out and gave it back to it with the most serious and upset look. Update: August 29th, we came for lunch today and ate inside. Surprisingly, the food was good and it was nice and clean inside.
We have been here multiple and EVERY time they mess up every order. It's bad enough having to wait 30 minutes in the drive thru but for it to take that long, the food should be good and no order errors. Most recently, August 3rd, we ordered 5 different meals and they messed up each one. Order a large/whatasize it and they give you a small or medium. Order onion rings and they give you fries. Order cookies with kids meals and you get nothing. Order a large fries and they give you no fries. Ask to add anything and they don't. Ask not to have something added and they add it regardless. They need to have a manager that can train the workers how to make what was ordered. Perhaps the franchise owner needs to sell the franchise to someone who cares about customer satisfaction.
