Subs On Main — Restaurant in Catawissa

I'll start my review stating I am a Philadelphian so my hoagie standards are extremely high. For this business being in the middle of PA (where I struggle to find a comparable hoagie to one in philly) my rating for the food is 4/5. The Lunchmeat is Dietz and Watson (excellent brand) and is sliced thin (excellent choice IMO and how it is done in philly!). This place is extremely clean and well ventilated. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming. The staff was excellent during my visit, very kind, helpful, and my food came out quickly despite a lunchtime rush. There were many regulars dining as I waited for my food and it was nice to see the staff interact with them. There are coolers filled with lots of drink options, a few chip varieties, and some beef snack options besides the main menu items. There are a few tables as well as 4 or so stools for counter seating if you want to dine in. I feel their pricing is fair and comparable to other sandwich shops. pros the main italian was good the cheesesteak was good the chicken caesar wrap was good the buffalo chicken was good the place was very clean the staff was very friendly

cons the chicken tasted like those pre grilled frozen strips from tyson and dont taste as good as fresh grilled or sliced chicken like you would usually get on chicken cheesesteak they stacked the lettuce and tomato on top instead of beside so it felt like you got one bite with all the meat and one bite with all the veggie toppings

Ordered whole roast beef sub with provolone cheese and tomato,lettuce, onion and light mayonnaise, received roast beef with one very thin slice and very little roast beef. no tomato, no onion, no mayonnaise but with enough lettuce to choke six rabbits.very disappointed staff was not attentative. should be trained a little bit better, plus parking is very limited. probably will not return for a long time.
