Giovanni's Pizza — Restaurant in Catlettsburg

We just ordered from here. Quoted 80??? Minutes and it took ten. Glad we stayed home. Didn’t have half of what is online but didn’t want to be rude after we already started placing the order so got a pizza we didn’t want. Overpriced as it is for a pizza place thst always puts us on hold and never has any menu items. But the food today was disgusting! The pizza was almost nonexistent. It was literally as thin as cardstock and had almost no sauce on it. It had one piece of pepperoni for every couple slices and they sliced it into one inch slices. There was very little cheese but if there was anymore the dough may have disengegrated. The wings were undercooked. I got the eight piece. One ranch. And the wings were gooey, not crispy like wings ought to be. I had to feed them to my dog because I wanted to puke. I’ve eaten at many Giovanni’s with no problems but this is my third experience with this one and from the first two I shouldn’t have gotten food here but it’s the only place that delivers. Apparently that makes you think you can overcharge for gruel because it was so nasty I couldn’t eat any of it and my garbage disposal boyfriend thought it was horrible. I payed almost $25 with the 20.29 plus tip. I wanted a refund but I figure fat chance of that happening. I have ordered twice from this place, since it was taken over new ownership. Let’s just put it this way. THE OLD OWNERS need to come back. The new management & staff are careless, I placed both orders online My first order got delivered to a wrong address. ( not mine) So I had to pay for food I never received. Didn’t get reimbursed either ;( . Should have learned my lesson then on ordering again. Give it a 2nd go round. Online order. Epic fail. Waited a hour to go pick it up. It wasn’t even placed by time I got there. So they took the order and never made the food. Waited another 45 minutes. Got 2 out of 4 Items and was over charged. The staff member making food had on Pajama pants and house shoes. The only one that was friendly , respectful and had any class was the young blonde up front answering the phone and fixing the cooks mistakes. Shout out to her! Something terrible is happening or has happened at this location. This is the second time I've called before their 930 cut off for delivery. Both times I've waited on hold for 6 to 8 minutes until they can finally get to the phone. You know after third delivery cut off time. Then to tell you sorry we don't deliver after 9:30. Even when told I've been on hold for 10 minutes. I've ordered weekly here for two years and every time I leave $10-$20 tip, even though every time they forget something of my order.
