SCOOP there it is! Catonsville Scoops is finally here and boy did it not disappoint! The “s” at the end of scoops is very important because you are most definitely going to want more than one scoop of this delicious South Mountain creamery ice cream. With a variety of awesome all natural and fresh flavors, dairy free options, sorbet, and milkshakes there is a little something for everyone. I went with a mix of “Cold brew” and “C is for Cookie”. It was delicious. Cookie Butter was also a massive hit. There is a wonderful outdoor space to enjoy your ice cream right behind the shop. Dogs are welcome! Finally!!! A good, family owned place to get hand dipped ice cream in Catonsville! They use South Mountain creamery and it is so good. The ice cream is thick and creamy. They have several different flavors, including sorbet and dairy free. The chocolate peanut butter and cold brew coffee were really good. My kids enjoyed birthday cake - plus they loved the color! It is standing room only inside to order, but there are tables outback to sit and enjoy. Street parking can be tough during peak times, but there is a free lot outback. Attached to Pat's Porch and delightfully welcoming, Catonsville Scoops is the perfect location after enjoying one of the many local restaurants on Frederick Road. Great for post sports or even just an evening destination stroll.
