From the moment I walked into Southern Seafood & Dine, I knew I had stumbled upon something truly special. This isn’t your average restaurant — it’s a family-owned jewel where hospitality, tradition, and culinary artistry come together in the most elegant way.
The atmosphere radiates warmth and authenticity. You immediately feel like part of the family — and in many ways, you are. With ten children, and now even some of the grandkids helping to carry the torch, this mom-and-pop restaurant is a living testament to the power of family, dedication, and passion for food. That sense of legacy shines through in every detail, from the attentive service to the heart poured into every dish.
The seafood is nothing short of phenomenal — each plate prepared with precision and care. The flavors are vibrant yet refined, highlighting the freshness of the catch while elevating it with elegant culinary techniques. Whether it’s a perfectly seasoned fish, a decadent shrimp dish, or their signature specialties, every bite feels like a celebration of Southern tradition with a sophisticated twist.
The customer service is equally impeccable. Attentive yet never overbearing, the staff (many of them family members) serve with genuine pride and joy. It’s refreshing to experience a place where hospitality isn’t a performance — it’s second nature.
Southern Seafood & Dine is more than a restaurant; it’s a phenomenal hidden gem that reminds you what dining is supposed to be — an elegant, heartfelt experience that nourishes both body and soul. For anyone who appreciates culinary excellence wrapped in true Southern hospitality, this is an...
Read moreI have supported this business for years. However I haven't been in awhile, I started going to other seafood places because you get more food for your money, and don't wait forever. I haven't been here in awhile so I decided to stop in, even after I could not get them on the phone to place my order. I waited over 40+ minutes for a 3 pc fish dinner. Ok no problem! But when I got my order they only gave me 1 tarter sauce for 3 pc fish dinner . Lol smh I asked for 1 extra and they charge me for it. Wow!!! they inconvenience me, the food wasn't worth the price, I waited patiently for over 40 minutes. Than charge me for 1 extra sauce smh. They don't even put the coleslaw separate so imagine how sloppy my food was when I got home! It's not about the money, but when you're spending your money you deserve the best. They are very stingy with their food!!!. I recommend TJ seafood or Harbor Inn the food is very good and not greasey!!! I even woke up sick throwing up that fish it taste like old grease was sitting on my stomach. Hope they do better! But I'll never experience it again. No...
Read moreCan you say full and satisfied!?!? Okay, so I went here today because I was in the area to run some errands. I saw this business on Google and looked at some of the reviews. It was nextdoor to a place I was patronizing, and I needed a quick stop to pick up some food. I called and the gentleman was very nice on the phone. He realized it was my first time and recommended that I come look at the menu. He did take my order by phone after a few questions. I ordered a 6 wing dinner that includes fries, slaw, and two slices of bread. I also added the sweet and spicy sauce on the chicken, and a cup of ranch. My order was just over $10 (ranch was like .38 cents or so). Let me tell you it was well worth it. I ate everything on my plate. The coleslaw has a unique flavor and is delicious. I dipped the bread in that chicken sauce too, you hear me! I didn't even need the ranch dressing. They have a new repeat customer. I would show a picture of my ending results but I think you get the picture. My plate...
