
I ordered some ammo from palmetto state armory on 3/14/24 as i have in the past had good experince with them and the deal was very tempting so i ordered 20 boxes of Norma 108 grain 9mm MHP ammo which is on sale right now around $7.99 a box before tax my ammo arrives 3/20/24 and to my suprise i was sent winchester 12 gauge 00 buck which is currently on sale on their website for around $3.99 a box....and each box contains a FRACTION of what each box of the Norma MHP 9mm contains the winchester boxes of 12 gauge contain 5 rounds a box. Where the 9mm Norma contains 20 rounds a box. So I do what any disappointed customer does and calls customer service and asks what can be done. As I've just been robbed for a good amount of money on my order...and the lady keeps talking over me while I'm asking questions..and she just says she can send a shipping slip back to ship the packages back doesn't specify a date or when the issue will be dealt with or when I will have a refund issued tells me to PROVE that im telling the truth by sending an email with a picture of said misship so i send them said proof with no reply. and then briefly just tells me to have a nice day then hangs up. So I decide to post a review on the ammo an obviously low reveiw...not only did my review or photo evidence NOT post but they "Temporarily disabled" my account immediately after...this is the most absurd behavior I've ever seen over such a small amount of money 160 dollars almost spent on 20 boxes of Norma 9mm MHP and they sent me20 boxes of winchester 00 buck about 80 something dollars in the WRONG product before tax. And then asks if "I'd just like to keep it instead" and lose half my money!? What trash service. BBB as well as the location that sent me the ammo is getting 1 star thanks for nothing.
Update: 2/28/24 still no reply to my emails I've requested my purchase or a refund multiple times. last contact via email is 3/22 and multiple times ive tried to access my account still says disabled...I have screenshots of it as well. Won't let me change the password and my reveiw directly on the ammo on the website has been removed or never in fact posted in the first place again I took screen shots and pictures and documented all communications of all contact from 3/20/24 on after receiving the wrong package documented all of this afterwards knowing honesty wasnt necessarily going to be had on palmettos part... They will not acknowledge they've made a mistake. I sent back the package with the incorrect order they shipped me on the 22nd...UPS confirmed via their website it was delivered to the senders address and was received by an associate named "miller". Communications have ceased and I've received no tracking number or explanation of where this is going from here. It's wild to me that the owner can respond to a reveiw in hours but takes weeks to ship a singular box of product. 🤯
Edit : Ammo finally received as of 4/2/2024 order is fulfilled in full, only discrepancy is that clearly someone decided to be unprofessional and state a place of buisness ive been affiliated with in the past on the shipping label, is this some sort of threat?? 😂 clearly someone got mad enough to figure that out as it's not public knowledge...want to change the reveiw but yet one more petty manuever prevents that from happening. Read morePossibly the worst customer service of any company on the internet. I ordered a night vision scope that PSA had on sale on January 5th that PSA had sent out in their daily email advertisement (@$550). After 7 days of it not shipping I find out it takes then 7 to 10 days to ship in stock items. Ok that is ok. On the 10th day they ship the package, but when it arrives it is not what I ordered. It was a AR build kit worth $100.00. The package arrived on a Friday after 6pm, so I tried to contact PSA but no luck, customer service is only available M-F business hours. I contacted them again on Monday, they made me send a picture of the package which I did and they generated an RMA and shipping label for me. I Sent the package back out that same day. The package arrived on Thursday that week. I called customer service to find out when they would send out the right package and was told the return had not been cleared in their returns department. Until it was cleared in the return department they wouldn't send the right items. I waited a couple days and called back, I got a person that told me my return still had not been cleared. I asked them to convert it from an exchange to a refund. They told me it would be 15 days to process a refund. I also reached out to PSA on Facebook, but got a message that I would have to pay more money to get a refund. This sounds like a bunch of scammers that run the company. I called again on the day the refund was due and was told it will be an additional 10days. It has now been almost 2 months since my initial order. I do not have the night vision scope and I do not have my money. You can't get anyone that cares about the customer when you call customer service. Read moreI bought an item from this company and received it quickly, in only three days. I was pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately, it turned out not to be the proper one I was looking for so I had to return it. I tried for several days to get ahold of someone at customer service. On Friday, the day after I had received the item, I was on the phone on hold for customer service for about 15 minutes before I gave up. On Monday again I was on the phone for about 15 minutes and again finally gave up. I then attempted to use the "Contact Us" form on the web site to ask for a Return of Merchandise Authorization number and waited a couple of days to see if I got a response and three days later, by Thursday, I still had not received a response so I called again and this time I was determined to hold on until someone came on the line. I read one review where someone said they waited about 45 minutes to get to speak to someone. It took about 20 minutes of holding before I was able to speak to someone. That being said, Kimberly, the person I spoke to, was very nice and got my problem solved quickly and without difficulty. I got the RMA and the instructions for sending the item back and was able to send it back out on Thursday. So the customer representative was very nice but trying to get ahold of someone at customer service is quite difficult and you have to be persistent (and have the time to do so!).
