A month ago I visited the store with my husband as we were looking for a new king set for our room. The saleswoman is very kind and attentive, highly recommended. We chose a set, and we proceeded to the financing, I provided my information and from the beginning the person in charge of the process was incredulous and somewhat racist towards me (I am Latina). Even asking me to present my SS when I had already provided the information and it had been verified, just to make sure it was real, which my husband and I found quite unusual. However, we decided to move forward as we really liked the set we chose. Sign the contract, we pay what was agreed and we leave the place. Today my husband goes to the place again since the first payment installment is due on Monday. Upon arrival they inform you that it is necessary for me to present proof of my salary, which had not been mentioned before, since it was not a requirement. (again the financing girl putting up obstacles). Even though I was not present, my husband proceeded to deliver his proof of salary, to which they claimed that it was not possible since the contract was in my name, my husband told them that we are married and that it is valid for me to use their information as income, to which they claimed that it was not possible since if the relationship ended, who would pay. An unprecedented situation... My husband tried to talk to them without getting anywhere since they only had one excuse after another. We noticed that this only happened because I was Latina, since from the beginning the financing company showed her discomfort with me. So my husband decided to request that the money paid at the beginning be returned and that we reject this contract, since there was no way to talk to these people. This was just a waste of our time. If you are Latino, don't go to this place. They will only look for ways to make everything...
Read moreI never pull the race card, but the finance manager at this store was very derogatory. My husband placed and order but had to put it on hold due to moving in to help my mother after her surgery. We were told that it would be held for 6 months. Went back 4.5 months later and we're told that it expired that same day and his credit would have to be run again. Was advised that he would need to out down a deposit (his credit score has actually gone up since the the time the order was placed). I asked if the order expired that day and it was still the same day til midnight, why did he credit have to be run again and if we could just continue with the previous order. The manger said since the credit was ran again, she couldn't see the previous order. I advised she was the one who said it needed to be ran again. Anyway, moving forward, I found the initial contact today. The order was placed on 07/19, we went back to get the items on 12/31...that's not 6 months. We did purchase elsewhere and I'm glad we didn't give...
