Had the worst service at this place today 2/18/24. This was my 2nd time & my family had been coming here since over 5 years ago! Won’t be coming here again!
1st off the lady at the front had the worst customer service ever. I didn’t get her name but I noticed that I was being treated so rude in comparison to the white race customers (im Hispanic). She couldn’t even greet us with a “hi, good morning, welcome.” I felt very out of place but did not want to provide her with my feedback as I thought my experience would get better.
I ordered fettuccine Alfredo, side salad, and a large pepperoni Pizza. The family did not liked the fettuccine Alfredo but we ended up bringing it to the house for Mondays lunch - still eatable!
The huge complaint occurred when paying. I came with a large family and everyone paid their own portion of the food. I was the last one paying for my order. I paid and added a nice tip and when I signed the same racist lady at the front said…. “Your party did not paid for a chicken Alfredo, are you paying for it?” Which I was surprised & told her that I was sure they had and must be a misunderstanding. I offered to go outside and asked my family to make sure they paid for everything. (Total amongst all of us was easily over $350). Of course everyone told me they had paid and one of family members told me …. She had originally ordered 3 chicken Alfredo’s but only got 2 so she has to go to the front and ask for the 3rd one she had originally ordered so the confusion likely was here as they had probably added an extra one incorrectly! I came back and told lady the same and she insisted in a rude tone that I had to pay for it. She wouldn’t listen so I asked for the manager.
The manager started the same rude way blaming one of my family members for not paying. I tried to explain it to the manager also but no one was listening…… I asked him if it made sense for me to pay for something I didn’t eat and he started asking to calm down and began to understand.
We offered to pay for it at the end knowing they had made a mistake on their end and he advised to don’t worry about it. The simple issue of not listening to your clients and the white racist lady at the front needs to be handle seriously!
Ahhhh and on top of that a side salad that we ordered was bad and the lettuce was brown which we ended up not eating it. We didn’t even bring this up to them as we don’t like to complain about little things like that.
Management : you really need to train all of your staff to treat all clients the same professional and friendly way. You can’t treat whites better than Hispanics or African Americans! This country has come a long way to win the racism battle and to see this still occurring is very heartbreaking! In addition, you need to train your staff and to listen to your clients! Maybe providing a tab when ordering or paying at the spot vs waiting to pay at the end will also save troubles as we know that everyone makes mistakes!
Never coming here again but hopefully this doesn’t happen to other clients! You have lost 50 clients from my family and additional clients from all of my social...
Read moreCanned chicken. I ordered chicken Alfredo pasta and the chicken tasted, smelled, and looked like canned chicken.
Removing the top cover, I immediately inhaled a very unpleasant smell which smelled a little bit like canned tuna but also canned chicken. The stench was even similar to canned cat food chicken. I gagged smelling this and gagged even more tasting it.
The texture of the chicken was MUSH which makes me believe even more that the chicken is canned. The appearance of the chicken was very flat too with no body like regular chicken has.
The chicken looked and tasted beyond awful. I had to pick out the “chicken” from my fettuccine Alfredo and throw it in the trash. So I ended up eating fettuccine Alfredo with no chicken. This is the worst chicken I’ve eaten in my entire life. And for a restaurant to serve it is unbelievable.
Beyond disappointing. If you’re gonna sell canned chicken, at least lower the price of the dish. I’d rather eat no chicken than inedible canned chicken. I’ve had soy chicken that taste better than the chicken here.
The only thing that stopped me from giving this review 1 star is the saving grace...THE PIZZA! Sam’s pizza is by far the best pizza I’ve ever eaten.
Really sad that the chicken ruined my experience here but the pizza is what saved the day and might bring me back.
This restaurant needs to use real chicken or not serve chicken at all. Point blank.
Their pizza is phenomenal though.
Edit: I came back to this restaurant and I will continue to come back and give these people my money.
This restaurant has THE BEST pizza I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. Literally the best and I’ve tried tons of so-called “New York style” pizza. Sam’s New York style pizza is the real deal and I promise you won’t find a better pizza restaurant in town.
Their pizza and stuffed pizza is just too good but I’m too scared to eat their chicken that comes with the pasta since it was so gross the last time I tried it. Hopefully they change and improve that chicken.

Read moreMy family has been going there for years. I’ve had several large group meals there from church gatherings to my birthday lunch. The customer service has never been an issue for us I guess until We’ve had a reason to speak with the manager. My husband ordered a Philly cheesesteak as he usually does and the sandwich was just about empty when he opened it at home. He called and they had him take it back. When the cook asked him what was wrong, he told my husband that if he made him another one, it would be the same. My husband was infuriated that this is how they handle a customer complaint. They made him another which was still not like they usually make them but he took it anyway. No one offered an apology or even offered a drink for him having to drive there twice for one sandwich. He called the manager who was equally rude. Never once apologized for the inconvenience stating that my husband was wrong. They definitely do not care about customer satisfaction and do not understand the old way of doing business, which states that the customer is always right. When my husband asked if he was the manager or the owner, he replied with “I’m whatever you want bro.” He was so rude and just kept arguing about how my husband was wrong. We will definitely not be taking groups or ordering for ourselves ever again with this place. Worst customer service I’ve had in a long time! We go there so that we are not giving our money to chain restaurants and that’s how they treat a customer that wants what they pay for! Not one person from the phone person, the cook, to the disrespectful owner Bro tried to make it right. Instead they choose to let the customer leave upset!
