The Post Tavern — Restaurant in Cedar Park

Upon reading past reviews I recommend being wary about coming to this place because the servers and new manager are extremely sensitive and unprofessional. We didn’t even get to our table before my whole party of 15 (plus my baby) were kicked out because of one person in the party. I understand kicking just that one person out but it’s poor management to lose that much service and overreact over a minor matter. We were getting together to celebrate the life and death of a dear family member and deserved as a group better treatment especially since the tables had not been set and we were waiting for quite a while. The point of making a reservation is to have everything ready before hand to accommodate that party especially when there are that many people.

The decor is stuffy and dated as the staffs temperament. Can’t say much about food because we didn’t get the opportunity to drink or dine. I’ve worked in the service industry for over 10 years and put up with a lot, you’ll go out of business by managing incidences so poorly and kicking out full parties for not liking one individual. Not to mention even after waiting so long to seat 15 people the arrangement would not have been ideal to accommodate us nicely especially with baby. McEwan co. I went there with my service dog and the staff was more than accommodating but one of their patrons made a big scene and the staff did nothing to prevent it. As a veteran and someone that suffers from several mood disorders Is hard enough to go out as it is I don't need any help keeping me out of an establishment. I will NEVER go back to the post again where they allow people to openly pick on veterans or in that case anyone who suffers the way I suffer. This particular individual identified himself originally the veteran but after I asked him a couple questions he couldn't even respond to me with any simple answers to what his rate was even which is even more alarming. Do yourself a favor stay out of this bar... Unless you want to run into but your low life people like this supposed veteran The Establishment allows to stay and...

My first time here a few weeks back...I came in kind of late, I was welcomed by both bartenders...One male one female...it was just about ckosing time ans a friend of mine asked to play pool..The male bartender had just cleaned and covered the table..and here we are (the irritating last min customers) he still did it with a smile..i appreciated that...and the female she had no prob answering all our questions on drinks... Atmosphere was real chill everyone was really really nice...diverse crowd all ages in there...darts, pool tables, shuffle board, and I just found out KARAOKE ! DEF gonna go back..bartender Nate Ty for handling us with such grace...and your co worker she was great...I'm so sorry I didn't get her name..but it was the 2nd sat in Oct lol!...
