Donutland — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

I was looking to purchase a ‘big 15’ box of donuts for the third time within the last couple of months. The menu with pricing was not operating apparently so I couldn’t see that this product had very recently increased in price by almost 20%. When I got home and thought about how I was charged that much more for the same product without being informed of the price increase verbally or via a visible menu I called the store and requested a partial refund or some additional product to make up for the customer service issue. The employee who rung me up took my name and number and said that the manager would call me later that day. That was a week ago. I was home to visit for the Christmas and New Year's break and on my way back to the airport I was totally craving blueberry donuts from donut Land that they do not have in Florida. The NE store was completely out and I called this location and they had six left and she said she would hold some for me & took my name. When I was driving to pick them up, we noticed that they had closed 20 minutes ago and the door was locked. I called them and the lady remembered me and said no problem, open the door and handed me my bag with my name on it and my delicious blueberry donuts. This place is a gem and so are their donuts. Went there at 7:45am and they were out of Chocolate Chip and Cherry Chocolate Chip already. Holiday weekend at 7:45am!! They lady told me they go fast. Well if you know that then make more! Plus the Boston Cream isn't part of the regular dozen anymore, it's extra. Very, very disappointed.
