Budget Inn — Hotel in Cedar Rapids

I have live there for some time and I have had no problem with it. I myself have a flat screen TV that I paid for myself and it has sat out for years and no one has bothered it. But there has been some staff that has been sketchy. But that is at all hotels. The ones they have now are good. I have lived at the BUDGET INN for six years and I have seen things go in and out of hear. But I have seen things change over the years. But it is in my opinion it is a working mans hotel. The police have been here, but no more then any other hotel in Cedar Rapids. They try to keep the place as safe as possible. They try to keep the drugs out of hear because they know that their are people who live hear that do have kids. I myself have stade in other hotel that wore a lot worse. But they jest did not career, the staff hear career about the guests and they try to keep the drugs and the trouble makers out. Very nice management, the rooms are really clean. The neighbors all seem very friendly. The staff will listen to any issues you might have and address them asap. If you need a cheap place to stay for a day or a week, this is a good choice. Love the police presence, makes it for a safe visit. Give them a call and check it out! Update I would like to add to the review, that I have received a very polite 24-hour notice, of an inspection that is done every month or so. The inspection was a routine one that was done by terminix pest control, they regularly check for any signs of pests: roaches, bed bugs, spiders, flea, mouse. Currently staying at budget inn from out of town. Rates are lowest you will find! Also, this place has drastically improved since my last visit years ago. Yes rooms are a tad outdated but they have done improvements and updates. It still needs work but I am very happy here. I have not seen any shady people or abnormal behavior from anyone who is staying here. Everyone is very nice and the staff are very helpful and very respectful. No drugs, no bugs, even provide coffee in the morning. I will be extending my visit and am very happy to stay here during. Bonus is a full sized fridge and microwave so I can save even more money by not eating out everyday. All in all I think this...
