Very upset about how they handled a messed up order. We placed an order for delivery of a dinner chicken hibachi ($17.95) and 5 sushi rolls. Once we got our order I realized we didn’t get any fried rice with the hibachi order. Normally I wouldn’t really care about something so minimal but if I’m like most people, hibachi isn’t really the same without the rice. I called the restaurant wondering what could be done. I’m not sure what I expected, but I at least expected them to care. They questioned me at first and asked me to double check. They didn’t believe me. Then they offered for me to drive there and pick up the fried rice, I explained that we ordered delivery for a reason. They then offered to refund me $2.50 on our $87 order. I told them don’t bother. Then they offered a discount of 5% off of the next order we place. I also said don’t bother because we will not be back. This is a place we frequent on special occasions. This was a planned meal for our anniversary. I am very disappointed the lack of service from this restaurant. Again, rice alone isn’t that big of a deal but I expected to be treated better when the meal I ordered wasn’t delivered. Also, the sushi was cold (we ordered cook and fried sushi).
