Subway — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

If I could leave a -5 I would. Supper for 2 of us delivered was $34 😳😳 The first bite of my sandwich was so salty I couldn’t even eat it. I called the store and the extremely unfriendly woman that answered said “yep, that’s our salt shaker. If you want to come over and get another you can and next maybe you should remember this.” I told her since I paid for delivery that they should bring it to me. Her response was “that’s not the way it works.” I won’t EVER give this subway another penny, she was the most rude biotch ever. She needs to go before she runs them out of business. This is the Subway on Council street in Cedar Rapids.

5/17/22 - This is the Subway on Council street in Cedar Rapids - I decided to give this Subway a second chance. Placed my order online & received it in a reasonable amount of time. When I opened the bags, one of the drinks was missing, ordered a steak sandwich and got chicken, another sandwich had avocado added to it which I didn't ask for but paid for, and the cucumbers tasted like they weren't washed. The order with delivery was 42 hard earned dollars, so I called Subway and immediately knew I had the same person as I did last time. When she answered she sounded like she was put out to have to answer the phone. Ok, no big deal we all have those days. When I told her I was missing a drink, she said "you'll have to come here to pick it up we don't deliver. Besides, that's not our job to get your drinks for deliveries it's the Door Dash drivers responsibility." I didn't even bother to tell her the entire order was wrong, I didn't need anymore of her rude behavior. I will also contact Door Dash or Grub Hub, because they need to know what this woman is saying, especially if it isn't their responsibility. I have contacted corporate because nothing was done last time. This person needs to be let go, she will certainly ruin their business. Never and I mean never will I darken this...

So I went to this subway around 6:30, I had an order pickup everything was fine, I went home with my family to eat, opened my sandwich to find it absolutely bare not only mine but my sisters to, we called twice and then decided we would go back, now im not usally the one to complain or make a big deal so I politely went up to the boy who was taking the orders. No name tag but he had orangeish balck hair. We explained to him thag our sandwhich tasted bare and had no bacon, his response was that to him there was 8 strips, So I said that it did not taste like there was, I continued to ask if we could just please have the sandwich remade, while waiting in line me and my sister continued to get dirty looks and mumbules, I was unaware that it was such a big problem to remake a sandwhich, absolutely awfull serviece, thankfully the other boy who was working (Again no name tag) was nice and topped out sandwhich like they should have been topped in the first place. All in all was a simple mistake and just wanted a new sandwhich, but in turn got disrespect and...

This location used to be so good but since management changed hands many months ago (which one of the employees there decided to share with customers why they were no longer there...very unprofessional), this location is a waste of time and money. I've had bad experiences a few times and reached out to let them know but never received a phone call asking for details or an apology for the bad service. It's really too bad....don't waste your time here. I decided to give them one more try and the same lady who told me what happened to previous staff was there again....she behaved as though I was an inconvenience and interrupting something that was more important to her. She rang up my order, waited for the card prompt and then walked away...no thank you, no waiting to make sure the card went through.....nothing. It just seems that either the location owner and/or the franchise in general doesn't care that this location sucks because I've reached out twice now and not one attempt to get in...
