The response from the owner is an absloute lie I NEVER threatened the staff at any time. I loved this place until today. I was in line for 20 min...no big deal I like this place so I will wait. I asked for 2 chili dogs and 2 cheddar nuggets, i was quoted 18 and change. i get to the window and it is now 13 and change. I said wait this is wrong 4 items at 4 plus dollars each does not equal 13 and change. your math is wrong. the girl at the window said i was over charged and they fixed it. It still didnt sound right so i said it's 13 and change for 2 chili dogs and 2 cheddar nuggets correct? The person at the window said yes and before I could say anything else she closed the window. well i only got one nugget and i called back to speak to someone who said they were the GM. i explained what happened and the response was well we are training and you didnt get charged so whats the issue. no appology, no come back we can help you...nothing. I felt it was very rude how she handled my complaint so i got upset and then I was accused of yelling which i was not, having a complaint about bad service is not yelling. I was called rude several times and I said I feel like you are being rude and it was rude to shut the window on me while i was talking. I was told no one was rude to me and I was the only rude one. she then told me she was sick of speaking to me. I said ok fine I will stop by monday to speak to someone about my experience. She told me that if i come to the store monday to complain she would be there and call the cops to have me arrested. i have never been threatened like this before for a complaint. I can never come back to this location or I may be arrested. Very disapointing. What is this world coming to? customers should not have to deal with such...
Read moreWhile I do enjoy Parlor City and will continue to go there, I’m unhappy with my experience tonight.
As per usual, the wait is long during the summer. Not a problem. But after being in the drive through for nearly 20 minutes, I finally get to the speaker to order and they won’t take my order and a recording starts to play stating that they are closed. This was at 9:07pm on a Friday night, however the car ahead of me was allowed to make their order. (Which also is ridiculous that a place like this would close prior to 10pm on a weekend when it’s a seasonal business)
I understand that businesses have certain times that they open and close. But if you aren’t going to accommodate the cars in the drive through that have been waiting since BEFORE your closing time, you should put up cones in front of the driveway so that other cars don’t come in. There were six or seven cars behind me that had also been waiting and were now unable to order. This is frustrating, not good for business, and just simply annoying.
I’m writing this as a constructive critique, I hope it will open the eyes of the business owners or managers to at least start blocking the drive when they are getting close to closing or to accommodate the people that have been...
Read more(This is Ed's wife posting). I see everyone gave a review on the ice cream and not the food. For my bad review is the food. I went after work and got 2 pork tenderloins, (which were the size of McDonald's hamburger patties, 2 small orders of onion rings, and two banana shakes (which were suppose to be 16 oz., but were only 12 oz.,) and for that I paid $20.00? Highway robbery. For food we'll stick to Culver's or Wendy's. Your food in my opinion isn't good, and especially for that price. And you don't like that criticism I don't care.
To Daniel M, WOW, am I suppose to be impressed you know someone who works there? I'm not. I'm 57, and traveled all 48 states with my husband (he's a trucker) and met celebrities along the way.
To the manager, if you can't take criticism, then you shouldn't be a manager. I was an office manager before getting married, that's part of the job. Your comment to Miss/Mrs. Jackson's review sounded like a child, not someone of authority. If anyone should be ashamed, it should be you, not her. Why don't you grow up. And as a manager, teach your staff the difference between 12 oz. and 16 oz., because they certainly don't know...
