First let me start off by saying the restaurant was nice with a very good atmosphere. The chips and salsa were super good…..That’s where it ends.

I ordered the seafood chimi. It comes with crab meat and shrimp. It looked great when it was set on the table. I cut it open and didn’t see any shrimp. I could see the imitation crab meat but no shrimp. My server happens to stop by and looked at it and said “that’s obviously not correct.” I said yes and that it doesn’t have any shrimp. He then said “I can get it redone or give you a discount.” I said just give me a discount since it’s not right and I’ll eat it the way it is.

I thought all was good. My server said my manager will visit you. At this point I had eaten the dish to completion….When she came over she said the shrimp is chopped up very fine so it’s hard to see. I said no way that’s the case and that there was no shrimp. I said just discount it since it’s not correct. She said “I’m not going to discount it since you ate it all.” I said yes but your server knew it wasn’t right when he looked at it and said he would discount it. She then said “I’m not discounting it and we are busy”. She then walked off.

The chimi without the shrimp was very good but it’s not what I paid for. This could have been handled professionally by the manager but she chose to act differently and was extremely rude.

Will NEVER...

Quite possibly the worst Mexican meal I've ever had!

Now I'll preface this with the fact that I've eaten inside multiple times without issue, however this was my first experience with takeout and honestly they shouldn't even offer it.

We ordered two of the large burritos. When I looked in the bag, it looked like there was two small enchiladas in the container. As I picked the container up, all of the food shifted to one side and it was at this moment I realized nobody had secured the lid and all the food spilled out into the bag onto the other container. Once all the swearing had subsided and the food was thrown back into the tray we were able to actually try it. Bland, cold, and soggy is the quickest way to describe it.

Instead of making one large burrito with beef and chicken, they split it up into two small burritos with beef in one and chicken in the other. Then they poured the sauce on top which made everything squishy and caused everything to basically fall apart.

A burrito is designed so that you can pick it up and eat it, it shouldn't require a knife and a fork. I've honestly had hospital food that was better than this.

Overall this meal gets...

Grabbed some food to go tonight. Placed the order online and it was ready when it said it would be. Ordered the steak quesadilla for myself and chicken tacos for the wife. Came with chips and salsa that I wasn’t expecting. Food was really good and I love the salsa. We used to frequent this place ALL THE TIME until we moved across town. Have never been disappointed.

I saw a couple recent reviews from someone that was upset about the shrimp possibly missing from their chimi. I think it’s the same person with a grudge because there’s two reviews that are the same with different names and one of them has a picture of the food cut open. Who does that? If the shrimp is missing send it back or eat it and move on. The restaurant industry is tough enough let alone having to deal with...

Visiting town for a volleyball tournament and always looking for a good Mexican restaurant. La Hacienda did not disappoint!!! Greeted us and said we could sit anywhere. Brought chips and salsa immediately to our table and to get drink requests. We both got raspberry tea, so we don't know how their margaritas are. My husband had al pastor fajitas, and I had the la hacienda fajitas. Food came fast. My husband said they were good but missing the spicy kick he thought they should have. Mine were also good, and I had no complaints. Service was good as they checked on us a couple of times. Salsa was good, not too spicy (i could always take it spicier), and rice and beans were also good. I will definitely be back when in town again!!!

Was a very interesting building with a lot of character inside. The food was very average for a Mexican restaurant. You can tell how bad our economy is suffering thanks to the administration because they are now charging $2 a bowl of chips. While the chips are normal and the salsa is very good I hate all the add ons in price. Definitely not saying don’t go but make sure you grab your big bills to eat here.
