THE QUESTION YOU WANT TO ASK IS, IS IT WORTH THE WAIT? O.M.G "YES" IT IS❤️ IT'S A MUST MY FAMILY AND I COME BACK HERE . SINCE NY FIANCE DOESN'T EAT RICE HE DEFINITELY GOT A GREAT SUBSTITUTION. 👍 PLANTAIN I HAVEN'T BEEN A FAN OF PERSONALLY EATING AT RESTAURANTS, BUT......... HAVING THE PLEASURE TO AT LEAST TRYING ONE MADE ME SMILE INSIDE, BECAUSE NOT ONLY OUR WONDERFUL SERVER WAWA BOUGHT IT FOOD OUT TO US, BUT YOU CAN DEFINITELY TASTE THE "LOVE". MY RIBS WHERE SO TINDER ,AND JUICE, AND WELL SEASONED, MY PAPAYA SHAKE WAS 😋 A PERFECT 10/10. ANYTIME I HAVE TO COME BACK TO IOWA CITY FOR MY SURGERY AND FOLLOW UP APPT, THIS PLACE IS 100% WORTH THE EXTRA TRAVEL BEFORE DRIVING BACK HOME WHICH IS IN DES MOINES. I TOTALLY WISH WE HAD A WAWA LOCATION HERE, BECAUSE WE WOULD DEFINITELY BE A REGULAR LOL. PLEASE STOP BY AND EAT HERE, AND SHOW LOVE BECAUSE ITS NOT THE EASIEST MAKING EVERYTHING BY HAND, IT'S VERY TIME CONSUMING AND PURE LOVE POURING INTO YOUR PLATES YOU RECEIVE. THE ONLY THINGS I HATE I FORGOT TO ORDER WERE PRESCIOUS JAMAICAN PATTIES 😒 I WAS IN PAIN THEN..... AND FORGOT ALL ABOUT IT. THE MAIN THING IS I WAS HAPPY ANYWAY JUST TO SEE AND TASTE AUTHENTIC FOOD AND NOT GET SICK FROM IT. THANK YOU WAWA 😊 SEE YOU SOON !!

To those of you that have been wanting to come here or may be concerned about parking, it's plenty of parking spaces available, more restaurants and stores nearby, also this restaurant has highchairs available, wheelchair ramp I have not gotten the chance to see if one available, but I do believe it is available as well. Happened to be in the area and remembered someone mentioning this place. I LOVE spicy, bold flavored foods which is a hard find in Iowa..

Pictured is a Jerk chicken plate. Plenty of food for your money. The sauce was perfectfully flavorful. The chicken was a little overcooked. The rice was cooked with lima beans. That was a first,, but I like most beans.. Cabbage was separate purchase. Didn't appreciate that.

This is a family owned business. Only a 5-10 minute wait on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere is certainly family friendly but not for a quiet meal or date night. The kids of the owners were playing freely on the bar and floor with cars while cartoons and music was playing on separate TVs. Although friendly enough, the father of the children, who was also working the register, was preoccupied with his phone most of the time including when taking my order. Seem to be a popular takeout spot for fellow nationals though.

Where do I begin !!! I currently live in Dallas, TX. I am here visiting ! A friend of mine recommended we come here and she was NOT WRONG! The food is excellent !! See images ! I ordered the jerk chicken plate and it was so good ! All food is made fresh on spot so be patient it’s worth the wait ! For $17 you get enough food to feed 3 people and be full and satisfied and the flavor is impactful! Every bite makes you want more ! This is a family business ! The kids they clean and do their job without being told ! The kids sweep and mop and clean without being told like wow ! You would never see this type of restaurant style or food like this in Dallas , TX! The music on the screen was a vibe ! Wawa is so sweet ! I am praying that her business grows and she can afford a bigger space and expansion ! This was a great food experience for Haitian food I have ever had ! Yall need to come on and taste this goodness!! Thank you so much WaWa for your kind service...
