Eggroll House — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

I haven't eaten here in over a year until today. I was extremely disappointed. I ordered over $30 worth of food and none if it was good except the Crab Rangoon. The egg rolls were small and tasted like Spring rolls not egg rolls. The tofu was undercooked, the Kung Pao was not flavorful , just heat, and almost no chicken in it. The Egg Drop soup was not like ANY I have eaten before. It did not have the good chicken broth taste and the consistency was like gravy and not broth. It was awful. My rice was supposed to be "fried" and I even made a separate transaction because I forgot to ask the first time I ordered. She charged me but then I got steamed rice. To top it all off the packaged fortune cookies were chewy and stale. Unbelievably bad experience. This review is so disappointing to write because I had visited here several times a month for over 4 years and hadn't visited in about a year. I was so looking forward to eating here again. Giving one star was generous for the experience my family and I had eating here. After reading reviews, my family and I decided to stop for a late lunch passing through Cedar Rapids. We should’ve just left when we pulled in the parking lot and didn’t see any cars. The menu was taped down to the counter, the woman working was far from helpful for us being new customers. The food came out very fast, so fast it was questionable. This was probably the worst Chinese food I have ever ate. Actually this was probably the worst dining/meal I have ever experienced eating out. The canned Chinese food at grocery stores were more edible than this. The rice had no flavor, the chicken in the meal was slimy and almost didn’t seem cooked all the way, the crab Rangoon had the strangest taste along with the egg roll. Well I ordered I should say I actually ordered just sweet n sour chicken by itself and chicken fried rice... I went picked up yes very courteous but doesn't listen to customer very well he told me my total was 19.21 for one freaking person to eat I questioned him and he said that was my total for what I ordered...
