I love eating pho and am a big critic on pho broth. I was in the area and had time to kill so I searched pho and found this place. It had a 4.7 star on google so I was excited to eat. I walked in, didn’t get greeted by anyone including the cashier who looked at me walked in. I walked up and told the cashier I wanted to order something. The waiter then came out and gave me a menu and sat me down on a table 5 feet away from the cashier. I told him I wanted the Chef or Special pho, the number 1 item on pho column. It was $17 after tax. There was nothing special about the pho as there was no oxtail, rib, shrimp or anything special in it, but I thought I tried it for review. 5 minutes later, the cashier said out loud to me as I was sitting in a table near by, that my pho was ready. I was confused as I wanted to dine in, but saw my pho was packed to go. At that point, I just went with the flow, paid and left. I didn’t like the treatment they had. The place itself is not that big or fancy. The broth was mediocre. Tasted like they added too much of the pho/beef seasoning in it. You can barely taste the authentic beef flavor from the broth as the seasoning is a very overpowering taste. Taste like they didn’t cooked the broth long enough and added seasoning in to acquire the same authentic taste, but failed miserably. No, I don’t like to add anything in my broth beside the veggie condiments. There are lots of other places that has done a better job with the broth, even though they’re not close by. This being the only pho place in the area gives it no excuse for the broth to taste like this. Please give the customers in the area a taste of real authentic pho broth. Please focus on quality over quantity. My noodle was also hard even though the broth was very hot. I am disappointed as this restaurant has a 4.7 star on google. Would I eat pho here again? No. Maybe the other items that people are reviewing...
Read more2/3024 Finally got to eat in person here. Pho is a tad on the sweet side, but overall, delicious. Place was clean and well tended. Server was attentive and nice, and provided us with perfect service. My request for noodles on the side was taken care of well (a lot of pho places give me an extra bowl of noodles instead of giving them on the side), and we were happy campers.
Overall a solid 4.
Both hubby and I thought the soups in the pho and the hue were sweeter than flavorful, though not untasty. Wait, does that make sense? lol. I mean, the soups were good. But the broth was sweeter than it should have been. The spicy hue could have been spicier. It is only my second time eating this dish haha... but the first time I had it (elsewhere), it was definitely spicier, and not as sweet, and that had felt a bit more authentic.
The rice noodles in the pho was delivered perfectly cooked, but the noodles in the hue was a little overdone. My expectations for noodle delivery isn't too high, though, and I was more pleased about the rice noodles being done right.
The Charbroiled pork vermicelli was good! Unlike the other dishes, I thought the amount of pork on this dish was a bit lacking... but it could be cuz it was so good. And the egg roll that came with tasted like a croquet. I noticed there were potatoes inside, which must've been the culprit. This was a first time I tasted potatoes inside egg rolls at a Vietnamese restaurant.
We had the food delivered through door dash, so I can't comment on service or ambiance of the place... but the delivery person...

Location is in a nondescript strip mall. Off the beaten path. Ample parking. With that said, it is well worth the drive if you live near Grafton, Cedarburg, and surrounding area.
I am Vietnamese. Take that for what it is worth. I was hesitant because on occasions the food is watered down for non-Vietnamese if there isn’t a large population around. However, my experience has been positive so far.
Have eaten the spring rolls and egg rolls. The spring rolls were made fresh. You know that because the rice paper isn’t hard and dry, which you get when they are premade and sit in the fridge.
I have eaten the banh mi (6”). Bread was crispy and toasted. Vegetables were crispy. Meat excellent. Not dry.
Ordered the chicken curry with bread. Tasted like my mother’s. Large portion. Enough to share for two. They also give two loaves.
Another time I ordered the chicken cabbage salad. Very good. Authentic. Large portions also. Enough for two. Chicken was fresh and was not dry. Seasoned perfect.
Today, 5/24/24, I ordered the Shaken (sometimes called shaky) Beef. Great meal. Beef was cooked well and tender. Sauce was not overwhelming. Rice was cooked well. Not dry.
My goal is to go through the entire menu. Have not tried the pho as I am testing the other menu items. However, based on my current experience and three visits, I predict it will be good.
Friendly staff. Clean. Quick service.
I do recommend if you want...
