I had read about this place on Nextdoor and was excited to try it. It’s right around the corner from my neighborhood and I was looking forward to some delicious quesadillas. I walked in and was greeted, and looked up at the huge hanging menu board. The first thing I noticed was that there were no prices on the menu. That struck me as very odd, and a little concerning. The woman that came up to wait on me started rattling off prices, which again is quite odd for a walk up counter service type establishment. I inquired about the quesadillas and was told they were $12. Unfortunately that $12 did not even include guacamole or sour cream which I normally always get included with a quesadilla. I decided to leave without purchasing food and came home and got on their website. Going through the steps for online ordering, it stated that online ordering was not available, but it did list the food prices. They had quesadillas in two different places…one place showed $8, and one showed $10. So clearly, the quesadillas were not $12! I felt as if the woman behind the counter just decided that would be a good price for me to pay for that given day. Any food establishment that can’t post prices for a customer, especially a customer who’s never been there and would wonder, is not a food establishment I would ever patronize. Their pricing strategy seems...
Read moreFirst let me start by saying I eat at family owned restaurants whenever possible when I go out to lunch or dinner I am a big supporter of small business. My friend and I were going to lunch today so I googled Mexican restaurants near my house. Chago's came up and I saw a 4.8 for reviews so I decided to try it. We walked in at 12:45 the chairs were still on the table tops for inside dining paint on the walls was dingy, ceiling tiles stained and ready to fall out. I thought to myself 4.8 still going to order a meal. My friend and I both ordered chicken burritos they came out and the burrito shell was soggy and the burrito over all was tasteless we both did not finish the meal. For $150 dollars and a little DIY they could have bought paint and ceiling tiles to make the inside presentable for customers to dine in. Overall this mom and pop rates a 1 from me. Not sure how they got 4.8 unless relatives were packing the survey. My bet this place closes in less than a year. Very...
Read moreVery unassuming, small, brightly painted and sparse interior. The workers were helpful and welcoming and even made adjustments to let us order slightly off menu. We've been trying various breakfast taco/burrito spots around south east Denver and this has been the best! We enjoyed the chorizo and eggs tacos with the mild sauce, as we couldn't handle the spicy green. Even the mild sauce and the chorizo spice was enough to get our sinuses running but it was delicious! With the cash discount it was very inexpensive, ~2.66 / taco, worth...
