"Honest review from an Indian food fanatic and home cook"
Decided to come here for a middle of the week lunch. They are located at the end of a strip mall. There is ample parking. They serve buffet style during lunch and seated right away. Not very crowded during week lunch. Overall, the ambiance is simple, nothing that speaks Indian except for a wall mount behind the main counter and maybe a couple of pictures. Separate sex bathrooms. They have multiple dishes, vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian, which are named on the glass cover on top of the buffet. The food tastes decent; nothing exciting. The flavors are mild and kind of sweet, almost non-existent. The dish trays are quite shallow; and non of them have any Sterno warming candles underneath. The placement of the foods is a little off; they had the Pakoras ( appetizers) on the beginning but all the sauces that go with it are placed to the end. Also, the desserts - mango custard, kheer (rice pudding) and Gajar halwa (carrot dessert) were a little better but not mind blowing. Overall, it's a good place for a quick and quiet mid-week lunch bite, affordable at $11.99; but nothing exciting for a seasoned cool of...
Read moreA wonderful place to find delicious Indian food in the Lone Tree/Centennial area. My girlfriend and I ate here on our first date, and just recently for our anniversary. We could not have been more pleased with the service, attentiveness, and flexibility of the entire staff. Plus, a special anniversary request was attended to without issue!
The food and service, as always, is consistently fantastic and is ranked near the top, with the likes of my favorite authentic Indian restaurants in Colorado. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten something here that I didn’t enjoy. The variety of entrees, appetizers, and drinks makes it easy to spend an hour or two lost in conversation at India’s Kitchen II.
Atmosphere is quieter than most, booths are comfortable, and parking is plentiful. Would highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
Update Jan 2020: my now-fiancé and I continue to make India’s Kitchen II our go-to anniversary spot, always a pleasure to visit for plentiful, tasty Indian cuisine.
Update Dec 2020: my wife and I are happy to call the India’s Kitchen family part of our own when we dine out for...
Read moreFood here is always good and I like their online ordering system (although it does not work well on a phone or anything but a computer). I think the spicy levels give a good selection and are always on par. The mild isn't bland, and the spiciest level isn't trying to kill you but definitely makes you sweat and satisfies any spicy craving you may have. Location is clean and nice decor.
They have messed up my order before and not given me things I have paid for (though was rectified with receipt whenever I caught it). I have had naan that wasn't fresh. What I'd really like to see though is some acknowledgement of your loyal customers. I've been here well over 20 times, and I don't see any kind of appreciation or recognition or anything. Employees are polite, but not really friendly. We always have big orders and I've been to plenty of places that give freebie desserts or something because I'm a loyal customer or have big orders... just some room for...
