First, I'm not even sure how to word this rant. Second, I see why our unemployment sucks in our country. For those that don't know, I live in Denver, Co. I just went to McDonald's and went inside to order my food. Upon walking up to the counter, there was not a single employee speaking English. The kid walks up and asks "what want?" I tell him I would like 2 McDouble's, no pickle and a small fry. He looks at me like I AM speaking the foreign language. He then asks a co-worker to come assist him. They ask me what I want and I repeat the order. They show me on the screen and it looks correct. I get my bag of food and they put the special order tickets on each burger. I am on my way home and open the first burger, mind you with the special order ticket of NO Pickles on each wrapper. Bite into the sandwich and there are 7 pickles on it. Open the 2nd one and discover the same thing.
Living in America and trying to get the right food order is becoming impossible, let alone a job. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but McDonald's is losing my business. This really sucks because I do enjoy their food. If this was a first time occasion, I could let it slide, but this has happened on multiple occasions. I'm sure it is partly my fault, because I keep going back expecting a different result. But, today was the last time. I have learned my lesson.
So, in closing, I guess my rant would be, if McDonald's wants to keep the American consumer happy, HIRE SOME DAMN AMERICANS THAT...
Read moreThis is the worst location I’ve ever been to. I never write reviews, but I just had to after my experience today. I’ve been here twice. The first time, I had to pull up and wait for my order (okay it happens). When I finally got it, I was missing half my order which consisted of two breakfast meals and one additional sandwich/hash brown. I had to go back through the drive thru and then they made me pull up and wait yet again. This time for much longer. I finally get home and my order is still missing items and not even warm. No excuse for that.
Then fast forward to today, I order two breakfast meals (nothing complicated). I have to once again pull forward and wait. The wait was not incredibly long, but when I finally get it, it’s just the breakfast sandwiches - no hash browns that ‘make it a meal’. So I let the guy know that I’m missing the hash browns. He asks me how many I was supposed to have and goes back inside. Eventually he comes back with the two hash browns. Whoever is responsible for bagging the food needs to READ the order slip. The fact I have had the exact same experience the two times I’ve been there and had to pull and wait for extended periods of time is not justified.
The food is not that great. Not hot by the time I’ve waited 10 mins for someone to run it out to me since they couldn’t fulfill my order at the window. Please do yourself a favor and choose...
Read moreLet's get started here, a McDonald's shouldn't have to have a lengthy or extensive review when the only purpose this franchise serves is food but the word bad is only three letters so we'll keep it short. Half of the staff comes into worked inebriated and confused while the other half come into work without gloves. I have seen an employee in the back spit her gum in her hands, transfer it to the trash and then rub them together and continue working. That's almost something you'd see in a raunchy teen comedy. Because of the condition of the employees, the food is usually below mediocre. French fries are cardboard snacks usually with uneven salt and the warmth of a coffee at BP Oil. I just ate an egg McMuffin with half of a bottom bun and an uncooked egg because hey, the only reason people come here is because of the convenience of the location which is a perfect segway for this statement, considering how nice of a neighborhood this McDonald's is in, shouldn't the food be much better!? Small details matter and fast food is engineered to be simple and efficient so this shouldn't be neglected when it's not...
