I used to love this place so much! Their corn beef eggrolls are amazing, but sadly I will never be returning due to the service I had last time I was there. My mom and I came in (we’ve been in multiple times before this, actually before this day we were there 3 days prior) the waitress asked for our drinks and my mom asked for her drink in a Togo cup, she does this everywhere. The waitress told us ā€œwe are not allowed to give dine in people Togo cups because they wash their own dishes and they would losing out on a cupā€ okay…lol so me and my mom both said we would pay idk 0.50 for a Togo cup so she could enjoy her drink with her food? They then turned us down again and another waitress walks over and says they are not allowed to give Togo cups in the house. So then I said if I’m a paying customer, who is willing to pay for the cup itself and the pop why can’t I have one in store? (The waitress knew me too because of how often we go in there) then she changed her answer, instead she would give my mom the cup, but she couldn’t have a refill…cause that makes sense. My mom was even willing to not drink anything just so we could eat, finally I said forget it and then we left. The kicker of it all is 3 days prior when we went in, my mom got a Togo cup when we sat and ate and I also mentioned that. I loved this place for the food, but after that day seeing how the waitresses and management acted and did not accommodate us as paying customers, I will...

Charged fee for credit card, over 3%.

Multiple problems with multiple federal laws and financial crimes. Waitress does not care and owner does not understand there is a problem.

While it's generally legal to charge a surcharge on credit card transactions, charging a surcharge on debit card transactions is prohibited in the United States. This protection for debit card users is due to the Durbin Amendment, a part of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. Here's why: Durbin Amendment: This amendment aims to regulate debit card interchange fees, which are the fees merchants pay to process debit card transactions. It includes a provision that prohibits surcharges on debit card transactions. Protecting consumers: The prohibition on debit card surcharges is intended to protect consumers from additional fees when using their debit cards. Key takeaway: If a merchant tries to charge you a surcharge for using your debit card, they are violating...

VERY OVERPRICED AND YOU DO NOT GET WHAT IS ON THE MENU! employees are very slow, and you have to ask and remind them of what you are supposed to have with your meal, i.e... toast, coffee refill, 1000 island dressing on sandwich. I ordered a Michigan salad, HORRIBLE, was supposed to be spring mix and assorted greens, grilled chicken, sun dried cherries, walnuts, feta cheese, onions, and tomatoes. What I received was wilted and soggy iceberg lettuce, rubbery chicken, 4 cherries, 2 walnuts ( yes I counted as I had to search for them), very thin piece of feta, old onions, and unripe tomatoes. WORST SALAD I EVER HAD! one in my group had breakfast the farmers omelette, they said it was not worth the cost and didn't eat it. another in my group ordered the 1lb corned beef and turkey, said the turkey was gross and rubbery, and they forgot the 1000 island dressing. Will NOT be going back! NOT SURE HOW THEY RECEIVED SUCH...

The waitress/server was at my table almost as fast as I was, with water & utensils, ready to take my order if I was prepared to give it. I assume there is quite a number of regulars from that. I know I've mentioned before that I love a diner. There is just something that I find appealing in that setting. While ham & corned beef are in the name, I went with pastrami on rye. Got it a few minutes later, 2 dill pickle spears with it. It was a little dry, a touch salty, too, and sliced thin like lunch meat but filled the hole in my belly well enough.

The food was amazing. Service could have been a ā€œtadā€ bit better . But maybe they were having a bad day. I disliked having to pay extra for the cheese, mustard, and thousand island. Every place I ever went to mustard and sause came on the sandwich. And if it was like .25 .50 that’s one thing but a whole $3 extra threw me off. Other than that I’d recommend them and I’d eat from there again.

Waitress was very friendly. I had a breakfast with eggs, bacon, home fries and toast. Eggs with cheese were very good , bacon was nice and crispy, home fries were tasty. Not impressed with the toast. I also got a corned beef & Swiss on rye to go, very enjoyable. My friend also got a corned beef & pastrami on soudough bread which she said was quite tasty.
