I can't get over how quaint and lovely this place is. Rustic decor, warm smiles and friendly staff- this place is my new favored to go to for lunch. The service is superb, and the food is nostalgic and really hits the spot. Wonderful for the price. And their coffee/drinks? It's on my bucket list to try them all! This time around I ordered a Nana's BLT. The croissant was super soft and so enjoyable, and paired so well with the crunch of the bacon. Dessert was a cinnamon roll and OH MY WORD it was big, warm, and the sweetness wasn't overwhelming at all!!! Perfect balance between crisp and softness. To die for! Card and cash friendly! 10/10 Would highly recommend this to anyone that's driving through Centralia. Be sure to arrive early to grab a good parking spot and seat. It can fill up quick!

This place is amazing! My server was wonderful. The atmosphere and decor are so cute with a warm, homey feeling. The food is all made fresh and so very yummy! I loved everything about this place. I had the combo with soup, specialty salad, and panini. It was perfect.

I ordered the biscuits & gravy and the fruit & yogurt. The biscuit & gravy had that wonderful homemade taste and texture. The fruit was fresh and sweet and combined with the yogurt satisfied my sweet tooth. Everyone was very friendly. The atmosphere was very inviting, relaxing and clean. The prices were more than reasonable for the quality of food. Now let me tell you about the coffee. Good coffee is very important to me. Formerly Java Joe’s, Melinda’s Coffee & Bistro is one of Centralia’s hidden gems. Most people (myself included, until recently) didn’t even know they served food, but let me tell you, this place is amazing.

The service is always super friendly, prompt and personable. Everything you love from a small down restaurant.

I had the pick 3 option on the menu which lets you choose a salad, a soup and half of a panini. I had the Caesar salad, Tomato Florentine soup and the Italian panini. All 3 were freshly made and delicious.

If you’re sick of the same ol’ options here in town and haven’t tried Melinda’s, do yourself a favor and try it out. You will not be disappointed! Melinda and her staff are doing great...
