The Golden Pancake House — Restaurant in Centralia

Five stars for the atmosphere is all the people that I know and joy speaking with when I visit the pancake House. Food is really good except for their pancakes are too thin to be called The pancake House. Service the service really sucks here they have a new guy now does pretty good but the restaurant manager out front waitress be standing there on her phone texting but you sit there for 15 minutes waiting for your waitress to come to your section no telling where she's at probably in the bathroom on the phone I got service in 25 minutes after I sit there I just about left but I thought no I want to see how long it's going to take to get some service with the manager standing there and playing on her phone. She may be the manager but she has no manager experience because an experience manager would have walked over and at least offered me a cup of coffee and a menu while I waited for my waitress instead of being on her phone. A manager would then go find the waitress see what the problem is why she's not out there waiting on her section if they're in the bathroom or whatever that's okay but they need someone to cover those sections while they're waitress is busy doing something else important. Also you can't go in there and order an individual sandwich whatever sandwich you order will have fries or something else to come with it and whether you choose not to have those other sides is up to you but you're still going to pay the price did they have on the menu regardless you can't go in and buy just an individual sandwich with taxes and tips for a BLT you're talking 10 plus dollars for two pieces of bread and three...

Nothing to write home to mom about, been here a few times with the wife and it's usually a hit or miss with whatever you order. Breakfast one day was horrible, hash browns were sour as heck, potatos were bad. BLT meal was another bad experience, probably the worst BLT I've ever had. How do you mess up a BLT? Ask them, it was a very measly two slices of bread, 2 slices of dried up bacon, poor tomato and a slice of lettuce. 10 bucks for this lousy BLT .. Salad with one of our meals one day had hair in it, no one wears gloves or hair nets, salad area behind counter where they make salad is exposed to the environment with everything out in the open. Fish here was a terrible experience, it smelled bad, usually it's a sign of old fish. There are more bad experiences than good, it's expensive and usually cost between 30 to 35 bucks for wife and i and the cost doesn't justify going there. Let's not forget the coffee alone is $5.00 for two people. Anyone who thinks that this is acceptable needs to get out more ... I can think of many places to get a sandwich, drink and not have to spend ridiculous amounts of money . The pancake house is poor at best. You can do better folks, stay away....food is very bland with no seasonings etc. Meatloaf was another bad experience. Too many lousy meals to...

I went into the restaurant to place my order and while placing it the manager came approaching me about a misunderstanding that happened 2 weeks ago as of today .After telling her I didn't want to entertain that she went on and on causing a scene in front of a packed restaurant while telling me she could refuse my service so I asked was she gonna take my order so she told the waitress no not to take it but I'm truly convinced that it's because of the color of my skin(black) it was like she was waiting on me to come into the restaurant but I also found out to that my number was blocked also by this manager....and Sunday myself and a friend went sat in there and ate and our so called waitress took our order but never came back to ask if we needed anything yet I'm still thinking it's because the color of our skin because she went to the table behind us 4 times asking if they needed anything but be mindful this couple was white but as of today they don't have to worry about another one of my hard earned dollars being spent in...
