GUESS Factory — Local services in Centreville

This happened a while ago and I was met with great and kind associates, one of which was named Chris I believe. Unfortunately, my delight there came to an end when an extremely tiny associate was spewing racist comments in the store. She went off to say Puerto Rican’s were the cleanest people compared to others. I also overheard her telling other associates to be more careful around black people, I was taken back by these comments and I could tell the associates around her were trying to correct her. Unfortunately, nothing was getting through to her. I then began to mind my own business for the next 20 minutes while I shopped, again, Chris was very helpful and apologized for any inconvenience I might have gone through. However, when I was checking out the same small girl was the one to help me, my husband was there with me who is a retired firefighter for Maryland and she continued to say that she was also a firefighter. I don’t want to leak her name out but after this experience my husband looked her up in the database and she was nowhere to be found, this made us furious to know Guess employs racist liars. I will only be returning to this store because of Chris and the store manager with the thick New York accent, who was very nice and helpful as well. This little girl said that she’s in the manager training program, I pray she doesn’t become one. The reason I didn’t come forward about this sooner was because I wanted to give her a chance but my conscience has been weighing heavy on me. I hope this problem gets sorted...

I planned to travel to Guess in Queenstown MD for a specific purchase. My husband and I have been there numerous of time and love certain items that they have. We drove about 2 hours to Guess Outlet to find that they were closed. The sign on the door stated they opened at 11:00a.m but it was after noon and they were not open. We watched as 2 employees entered the store with their keys. We watched the same employees look out the door window and then walk away. We went to open the door to find it locked. We left and went to 2 other stores and then returned. When we returned the door was still locked. I called the store to not get an answer the first time. I left a message. The second time I called one the employees picked up. I was informed that they had a call out and would not be opening the store until proper staff arrived. She stated that may be in about an hour. There were other customers that had come to shop as well. Not sure how many staff it takes to run Guess but we had been on numerous of other stores and saw 2 staff working and there was no issues. I asked the employee for the corporate number and was told there is no number or anyone else to call. I call that...

I was at guess today. And the lady that take care of us was rude and mean. She was behind us all the time like if we were gonna steal something from there. And was treating us like we didn’t have enough money to be there. She was only showing us the things that were in discount and if we move from the area that had discount she would approach us and tell us that that area wasn’t in discount. She was a Hispanic lady.
