July 18, 2025 - 3:43 PM Waffle House, Chamblee This was the worst service I have ever experienced at a Waffle House. The waitress who served us was extremely slow, inattentive, and uninterested in doing her job. She barely looked at us the entire time, making us feel ignored and even discriminated against, as if she was intentionally refusing to serve us because we were Hispanic. She took our order but still got it wrong, even though we were clear about what we wanted. The most frustrating part was that she would acknowledge our requests with, âOh yes, itâs coming,â but never actually informed the cook (who was a man). We watched her completely ignore our orders, making it obvious that she simply did not want to serve us. At one point, she only brought my food and completely skipped my wifeâs order. I had to wait for her meal, and by the time it should have arrived, my food was already cold because she had also forgotten my eggs. I asked for a to-go box, and again, she said, âYes, itâs coming,â but never brought it. After waiting 20 minutes, I had to get up myself to either grab a box or speak directly to the cook because she refused to help us. (And just to clarify, we were extremely polite the entire time. Even after everything, when she was charging us and still refusing to look at us, my wife was very respectful and still told her, âThank you.â) Waffle House should not employ people who donât want to work or who treat customers differently based on their ethnicity.    Read moreUpdate: I called to place a Togo order with no answer at all and got the auto message that made it sound like they are busy, so I pulled up to the store. Arriving, I find the place virtually empty with plenty of staff available and called them while outside and received no answer. My girlfriend asks them if they don't take phone togo orders and they responded that the phone was accidently left off the hook. The thing is, we called multiple locations and none of them answered. So, I guess everyone "accidently" left the phone off the hook.
Just provide decent service. If you don't want to take Togo orders, change you phone message, profile, website, etc to reflect that. If you post that you're open 24 hours, be open and serve.

But honestly the food this time was the worst I've ever had at a waffle House. The waffle was raw in the middle And the chocolate chips were put on after the waffle had cooled off. We asked him to melt the waffle and he put it on the griddle and then burned the bottom. My omelette which I always love had overcooked ham and unmelted cheese and wasn't it all fluffy which is my favorite part of waffle House waffles. I can personally never get my waffles to be that fluffy but this one was totally-not. The four Stars is because Lisa was so amazing if I was just reading the cook it would have been a one.
