My husband and I pulled into Burger King upon returning to Champaign. My order was simple. One crispy chicken sandwich, lettuce and tomato only. The cashier was very friendly and pleasant. He asked me to pull up. There was a car behind us in the drive through. No problem, we pulled up. We waited. We waited. We waited. I googled the Burger King phone number. I literally watched the manager in the gray shirt answer my call. I explained the problem. The manager argued with me about who told me to pull up. The manager said “ I didn’t ask you to pull up”. I suggested since he is the manager, his employees are his responsibility. He told me he was going to give his employee trouble. I said it didn’t matter what he was going to do with his employee. He asked me what I wanted. He said what do you want, an apple pie, ice cream or something? I said no, I don’t want dessert. I want a refund. The manager said you come in and get it. Read moreWent through the drive thru approximately 10 pm weeks ago. It reads open until midnight, yet it was closed. 2. Hours. Early. I figured something happened. My friend and I go in there today. The girl behind the counter was on her phone while I was talking through my order. She didn't engage us in the slightest. There was one newer employee making food, and he was unsure of how to make my order, and one other guy walked him through it, so credit for that. There was debris on many tables, including cups full of soda, stuff on the floor under the soda machine, and they were out of 2 separate sauces. If the place was busy, I would understand the mess a bit better, and the lack of stock, but it wasn't busy. We were the only ones in there. To have many employees on their phones tells me that we aren't that important. We will not be back, and I wouldn't be surprised if this place closes down in the future. The employees told us there was no manager on shift at the time but we walked outside and called the person that answered the phone said he was the manager. Went back to make a formal complaint and the "manager" said we was rude to the cashier because she completely ignored me and my family because they had 3 cars in drive thru. We asked if there was a cashier and she said yeah I'm the cashier you have to give me a minute. No hello I'll be right with you no acknowledgement at all. But we was rude to the employee. Then the manager proceeds to Express interest in a confrintation by pumping his chest at my husband. He allowed one of the other employees to approach us and allowed him to tell us to leave and not return we was only trying to get some service after 15 minutes of waiting patiently.
