We were hotel guests. I have stayed here many times over the years. We tried to order a beer from the restaurant, which is practically at the lobby, at 4:55PM after a very long drive and was told the bar opens at 5PM. So while waiting for 5PM to come around, I opened a bag of nuts while we waited and instead of asking if we wanted the beer, the person said that we couldn’t eat here. I understand that outside food was not allowed and we were going to order food along with the beer but the person made it sound like we were “sneaking” food in. The area demarcation between the “restaurant” and the hotel is not very clear so I asked the person to tell us the exact demarcation and we moved out. We did not order food, drink or anything else. We will be eating and drinking else where considering the service and attitude. Just avoid the excuse of a bar - there are much better spots...
