Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Champaign

Update: 2/15/25 Had the pizza remade. It was still only a 4. The cinnamon pull aparts were a 5. I’d give the first guy I talked to about remaking it a 4.5 only he had to get a manager. I’d give that guy a 1.5. He wasn’t helpful but finally said he’d talk to another manager. They said I had to have called a remake in the night I got it, not the next day. I’d had surgery and the pizza didn’t come until almost 10 and I didn’t want to wait up for another hour to get a remake. But he did make it happen, so I’ll give him a 3.5, He just was not very friendly.

First review on 2/14/25 Horrible. Cold pizza, charred edges, not even a thin layer of cheese covering pizza, cheese was only in the middle. Cinnamon pull aparts only covered two thirds in the cinnamon, the rest dry and hard, zero icing on them. Paid $35 for cold dry food. Thanks Papa John’s. NOT! Most of their drivers are BEYOND rude and rush taking hard turns ruining everything you ordered because they are stacked on top of each other so if let's say a garlic container gets smashed it soaks through the box and makes your pizza soggy and flopped because of the turns. when it gets late and your order was ruined don't bother calling wait till the morning because 9/10 times they are lazy and don't want to answer their phone. They have made my pizza with bad ingredients. I have been fed rotted Roma tomatoes on my pizza and then they questioned and insulted my intelligence stating all their ingredients were fresh when it was made. Fresh doesn't taste like rotting tomatoes. their app is awesome and can save you money with promos over all they do have good pizza if you stay basic like cheese pizza or mushroom even the meat is fine have only had issue with the employees and the Roma...

Ordered two pizzas online yesterday for pickup. Got to the store when they were supposed to be done and they said they weren't done, then they couldn't find them. Eventually they figured out they found or printed the order and they hadn't even started them. Had to wait another ten minutes there for them to make them. I asked them if they could bring it out to my car, just outside the entrance. Apparently that was to much and she said they would wave when it was done.
