I have been so excited about the new restaurant The Burrito Lab to open! Today was the day and I made sure to be there for lunch! I ordered the steak burrito and had cheese, lettuce, corn, black beans and Spanish rice and FREE guacamole on it. I love the fact that you get an unlimited number of topping choices with your order without it being an additional cost! The burrito was large, filled with ingredients and delicious! The steak has very nice flavor and very tender. Next time I think I will get double meat because it was so good! The Spanish rice was very fluffy and flavorful as well. I wasn’t able to finish my burrito at lunch due to getting full but I look forward to finishing it for supper. With tip, I spent barley over $11 so the burrito lab I feel is very affordable with great food and value. I will absolutely be back!

This literal mountain of food was 15 bucks. It would legit be like $22 at chipotle. Free cheese sauce/guac. I got double meat in this thing too But most importantly its just a lot better in every way. You can be in and out of the place in under a minute. The staff care, the owner is there all the time. The food is better too. A lot better. Hate it when you get chipotle and the meat is like 'gummy'. Never happens at this place. They have pride at Burrito lab.

And they give free queso and guacamole included. The chips did not taste that fresh and probably need to be changed up to be more exciting. But it was a nice filling meal and I wish I could afford to go out to eat more often because I’d love to support local businesses like this.

The Burrito lab The hype is Real about this New addition to the Champaign food community. I highly recommend “The burrito Lab” as your new foodie destination and I’ll explain why. Entering this establishment you are greeted with love, friendliness, and quick service. I ordered a Burrito Bowl with white rice, black bean seasoned to perfection, half chicken which is seasoned and cooked to perfection, half steak tender and juicy!! Roasted corn , lettuce, pico de gallo , and their signature mango habanero salsa!!! I added a drizzle of their in house guac sauce and also ordered a side of chips and guac.

Their chips and Guac are a must try!! My only take away is that I wish the chips were made in house!!! The Guac is very fresh, tasteful , creamy , Rich and Refreshing !!!

I am in love with this place. The best fast casual Mexican food in the area. Forget Chipotle, it doesn't even hold a candle to the amazingness of Burrito Lab. Plus they don't charge for Guac. All ingredients taste super fresh, are delicious, and their are a lot of options for my weird food allergy. I've been here multiple times and the quality hasn't changed. They recently changed the white rice to be cilantro lime and they knocked it out of the park. Absolutely delicious.

Staff is friendly, easy to order online, and their Dr pepper is very crispy. (And I'm sure the rest of their fountain beverages.)

Highly highly recommend....
