I went 4 times in 2 weeks. My first visit I was told to wait in the waiting area as there was 1 cook. When I was finally seated, more people came in after me, orders were taken after mine, and food served before mine. The coffee was old and cold and the refills were few and FAR between. I had to ask for a fork to eat and a spoon for my coffee.
On my second visit, I left my seat to take care of my bill then went to the restroom. As I exited the restroom, a customer asked if I left my sweater at the booth. I informed her that in fact I had as well as the rest of my uneaten food. I wasn't preparing to leave, simply desiring to handle the check before shift change. Awhile later, I again went to the restroom. (A lot of coffee drinking!), upon my exit a different waiter had my jacket in his hand walking towards me, holding it as if it had teeth and attempted to bite him! I asked WHAT IS IT WITH THE CUSTOMERS AND STAFF WITH MY JACKET? I refused to take it and asked him to put it back. Third exit from restroom, preparing to leave and awaiting the arrival of my Uber, my waitress had my jacket in hand walking towards me at the front. Very angry, frustrated and feeling my presence is OBVIOUSLY unwanted there, I said, I WAS GOING TO SIT AND WAIT FOR MY UBER BUT I'LL JUST WAIT IN THE COLD OUTSIDE. The waitress stated she was cleaning the table, as her reason for bringing it her again BUT my portable charger and earbuds were still plugged in the outlet at the booth.
I forgot to mention that after the first visit I signed up for the Rewards program which offers 20% off the next visit. The waitress was unfamiliar as to how to scan the code so she asked for help from who I guessed was a manager, a seasoned female. Before she reached the counter or viewed the offer/code on my phone, she proceeded to tell me that it was no longer valid. When she finally LOOKED at it and after I advised that it was just sent to my email a few days ago, she began to tell me and the waitress about some other code/offer that was previously in place and REPLACED with the barcode I had. Being able to read, I noted that the email stated the coupon could only be used once, as one would think. Just in case I was absent reading abilities, the manager stated, YOU CANT USE THIS AGAIN, at which time I replied I KNOW. I asked for my eggs scrambled medium and received them VERY HARD and BROWN...BOTH OF WHICH I LOATHE. My waitress said there was only SOFT and HARD to choose from. Again the wait for coffee refills was LONG.
My third trip I had the male waiter, EVERYTHING that could go bad and wrong did. I have yet to receive my food hot, and this visit was the coldest yet. I witnessed him being present and attentive to the other customers but had to look around for him when I needed him. I asked for coffee, vanilla creamer and a glass of water with lemon, no ice with a straw. He arrived with no lemon or straw and ice in the waters. He had the small bowl with the HALF & HALF sitting on top of my coffee cup! After he sat everything down, I stated I would be needing a new cup of coffee as I wasn't putting my lips on the one that carried the creamers. I also inquired about the lemon and straw asking why there was ice. He said he was confused. THIS WAS THE WORST OF ALL 4 TRIPS. It's more than I care to write about.
My 4th trip , 2 days ago, I had my initial waitress. I ordered the Philly Steak omelette and NO COFFEE. I figured as long as the waits are to be asked if I want a refill or the FREQUENT wait for some to be ready, I would just drink water. A plate arrived AND SURPRISINGLY it was hot! The only problem I had was it was someone else's order!! It was an open face steak sandwich with mushrooms and cheese. I advised that it wasn't my order and she replied, THE STEAK OMELETTE RIGHT. I replied, I THINK AND OMELETTE HAS EGGS. She was visibly taken aback. It arrived cold, hash browns VERY COLD. I heard racist rumors about Dennys but drew no conclusions..NOW I DO! ONLY BLACK EVERY VISIT EXCEPT LAST ONE. AND...
Read moreI called this location before coming. They weren't busy. I visited and sat at the front counter...no acknowledgement from any staff, no coffee and they even made eye contact with me. I got up and warned others and left!
I visit this location once and I have been for quite a while... However I recently had an encounter with the manager..
Alberto general manager
He came to me in front of the store where I was eating and approached me. He then proceeded to tell me that there was a complaint that I was taking pictures of his waitresses and that they didn't like it and he was telling me to stop. Now number one, I'm going to disable the veteran with anxiety issues. This did not help and in fact it is invoked my anxiety issues It made me feel very uncomfortable ignited my anxiety and made me want to leave. When I checked out, Callie ask me if everyone was okay and I said no and I explained why. First of all the waitressing question gave me the permission and And then pose for the pictureturned around and posed for the picture. Then she had the nerve to complain that I even took the picture he then came out and told me he allows me to stay there and not take pictures. Clearly the waitress lied to him and didn't tell him the full truth yet I got yelled at. I don't believe fair treatment is involved here whatsoever when employees can lie about their customers and then get away with it that's just sad. I feel like I need to make a general complaint or an absolute complaint to the general manager of the region. He actually stated that he allows me? Do you allow your patrons to come in and pay their bills to keep your store open? Do you allow people to sit in your seats do you allow them to order do you allow them to pay their bills You're a public restaurant and you allow I think your ego is ahead of your reality. No crimes are being committed and no problems are being caused a girl was asked if a picture could be taken and she said yes she even posed for it I have pictures to prove it and...
Read moreBest Denny's my husband & I have been to in years! No joke! First off it has been remodeled to the cool diner style which we like; but that doesn't matter if the food, service and maintenance are kept up. We were seated by Sara the restaurant's manager, and we ordered our coffees. She brought them and water right away. We noticed right away at how clean the place was, and mentioned it to her. She told us about some of the changes they had made, also through out the corporation. It included training for employees in how they treat customers. Sara definitely took pride in her position and restuarant, wonderful to see! She came back and took our order. I went to the restroom, it was nice and clean too. My fruit was delivered and surprisingly enough it was the freshest I've been served!! Blueberries, strawberries, 2 types of apples and red seedless grapes were in the bowl... all very tasty, none were mushy and old! Sara the manager told me if anything come in that she doesn't approve of she won't serve it and writes it up in quality control. Shortly our meals were delivered by a waitress who was very friendly, they were plated well. I had a Fit Fare omelet, the vegetables were prepared just right! Tender but not over cooked. I could tell the were really fresh also. Excellent meal. My husband had an egg scramble with bacon, sausage and 2 pancakes. It was really good! The coffee was good and hot, you have a choice of cream types also! Husband used the mens room and said it was kept clean too. Only recommendation there is to have the waste basket near the doorway. Most places don't but I agree. We like to open the door with the paper towel and then throw it away. Thanks for the great dining...
