I think a lot of us are trying to find alternative coffee shops to Starbucks in the recent months. This Dunkin is on my commute to work so I decided to give it a try. I have been to this specific location three times now, and have had a poor experience/interaction with the SAME employee. The first two times I brushed it off however with it now being the third time I am leaving a review. In this most recent visit I ordered a large matcha with oat milk two pumps of chai two pumps of brown sugar in the drive though.
The cashier was pleasant no issues. I drive off with my drink and it’s coffe not matcha. So I drive back go inside to get it fixed. No biggie mistakes happen.
The first two ladies were super apologetic and said they would get it fixed right away. The front cashier went to grab employee who made the drink, which was Jeff. And Jeff appeared aggressively around the corner to inform me that I wasn’t going to be able to taste the chai or brown sugar in my drink and that he made it correctly and if he makes it again, it’s gonna taste the same. When he finally gave me me an opportunity to inform him that it wasn’t the flavors that were incorrect, but that I had coffee instead of Matcha.
Jeff then let me know that it is Matcha and he made it correctly. So I informed him that my drink was brown not green. He snatched the cup remade the drink with now regular milk (not oat) slammed it on the counter and walked away. I could and should have asked for a refund, however I took the drink disposed of it when I left and went on my way.
Unless Dunkin is taking money out of their employees paychecks when they have to fix a correction, I am not sure what would justify getting THIS upset over human error. Everyone makes mistakes not a big deal. I didn’t come inside irate or yelling. I didn’t demand to speak to a manager. I simply wanted what I ordered. Jeff could have simply asked what was wrong with the drink took a look at it and seen that it was indeed brown, apologized and corrected the error. Three different occasions this employee has been short, dismissive, and rude.
I own a business up the street and deal with clients face to face daily. We all have bad days I understand that. However Jeff, just like I tell my employees, you need to leave that at the door. People don’t want to start their mornings CONSISTENTLY with your...
Read moreThis Dunkin’ Donuts is hit or miss. Unfortunately, your experience will be defined on who is working that day. If you go drive-thru and get a hold of “Jay”, you should turn around immediately.
Over the past few months I’ve been to this specific Dunkin, it has always been this employee that makes the experience unbearable. Without fail, you will be met with hostility, sarcasm, and disbelief as if he can’t believe you would go to Dunkin and order a coffee. How dare you take even a moment to check your phone for your mobile number? I quote, “out of the THOUSANDS of mobile orders that we have, WHO ARE YOU?” when I pulled up to the order box and stated I was picking up a mobile order. I work in customer service as well. There’s at least 20 other ways you could have opened the conversation with someone you’re just meeting. I understand, there’s rushes for food business, maybe he was trying to just get me taken care of so he can move onto the next customer! Well, that sure would be nice but I was unfortunately the only person in the drive-thru. And when I looked through the glass windows after getting my order, the store looked pretty empty.
Truth be told, I stopped going here back in July because it was becoming TOO much to get this guy taking my orders in the afternoon that I said it’s not worth it. Clearly this person hates me, hates his job, whatever and I’d rather spend my money somewhere the employees can at least hold in their displeasure for working!
That’s not to say that it’s ALL bad. Literally every other employee at this location has been heavenly to work with! I think today I got a young man who I will call “D” for privacy purposes (I left a good review for him on the official survey, don’t worry!), who handed my food over without issue. He’s always been nice. I can only say great things about everyone else.
The food is to be expected. To me, it’s cheap and good. I haven’t had issues with quality of service in this regard. I like the breakfast sandwiches. Not sure about coffee past noon. Again, you kinda get what you pay for.
Overall, my experience at this location is hit or miss. If Jay is working, it’s a BIG MISS. Expect to have a verbal altercation for being alive when you’re just trying to get a quick bit. If he’s not working, hey! You’re probably gonna have...
Read moreI've been looking for a dunkin' donuts that serves hot chocolate like they do back home however everyone I've been to here has given me this watery tasteless thing they call hot chocolate and in addition their coffees are barely passable at best I was about to give up until I drove by this and saw the now open sign. The lady at the counter was super nice and when I asked her how they made their hot chocolate it's exactly like how I've always had it which it comes from a machine and it's thick and creamy which is how I love it. In addition it was so nice seeing a Dunkin Baskin-Robbins combo because it reminded me so much of the Dunkins I went to as I grew up. I also tried a Boston cream donut and it tasyed fresh and I had a very short wait. It was super clean inside of course they just opened and so far I may have only had a one experience and it was a really good one. I hope they continue doing well and improving the customer service since not every review says it was perfect but I definitely will...
