I wanted to give ZERO STARS!!! Come here ALL THE TIME but lately since hiring the evil stumpy grumpy she/he whatever it chooses to be manager! We will never come back !! We have been known by staff spend over $25 every visit & always tip big! But that mean spirited grumpy new manager thinks she’s ABOVE RULES & makes all the staff uncomfortable with her aggressive demeanor & approach to situations! The other staff always friendly talkative & laid back but the staff when she works is boring, fearful & will change rules FLAT OUT LIE BC THEY FEAR HER! Made my drink a medium instead of large I had touched it & began to wipe it off when I realized size & the window girl refused to take it back she over hears her comes to window & says give that back not hello what can I do just RUDELY give that back!! I stated I didn’t want to keep it in first place taht she suggested we take it! So then my husband ask why the difference in rules: one says we can’t take back food once given out & manager just takes it? So she answers neverously looking back into work area bc we can see the manager staring at her & she says I have to do what she says she ranks higher than me!!! Wow so afraid & lost for words! It’s funny that rules change that fast & she even said I think that was rule changed a year ago but I didn’t get updated?😃 the lies just kept glowing all bc fear from aggressive rude manager who is always snappy with her answers & never cordial! I stopped going to Starbucks bc they act the same way! So I guess off to Black Rock we go, I own a restaurant & know that she was NOT supposed to take drink back especially once I began cleaning it but I’m sure they’ll defend her actions bc this is the way it...

The workers at every other DB are always suuuuuper friendly and positive. Not this one. They're condescending and a little rude.
They put a sign in the lonnnnnnng drive thru line that says you should order on the app. The other option is to wait for a girl with an iPad to get to you. We had been in the drive thru line for at least 10 minutes by the time we got to the sign which appeared to be about halfway to the window. We figured it would be 10 more minutes at least, plus the app offered a free drink. We ordered via the app and it turned out only to be 5 minutes. This meant that when we got to the window they couldn't help us. We had to park and walk up even though we would've had our drinks right away had we waited 2 more minutes and made the order with the chick standing in the sun with the iPad.
If you're wondering whether ordering via the app when you see the sign in the drive through telling you to do it is a good idea... It is not. It doesn't put you in line between iPad lady orders. It puts you waaaaaaay at the end. This means everyone behind you in the drive thru will have their drinks and be on their way before you. Plus you'll have to park...

Up before the wife and surprising her with her favorite Dutch Bros beverage.
I used to look forward to going here mornings, especially on the weekends, and then it happened...
Suddenly, I started being treated more like a nuisance than a customer 😕
Judging by the comments, I'm unfortunately in good company 👍
It seems that if one is ordering an energy drink or the most intricate sugary sounding concoction, you are treated as part of the in-crowd.
However, if you order something as simple as a cold brew coffee, you get the look like you just walked into a highly contentious saloon in the 1800s and you get a barista or a kid on his first day on the job tell you that they don't serve regular coffee despite you having ordered it from there dozens of times prior.
Let's just say glad the other place straightened their act now that they've regained my loyalty.
My one year old-phone suggested that I clean out unused apps, and much to my amazement, I had not gone to Dutch Bros ever since I got it.
Thought I might have stopped by once or twice since I drive by it virtually every time I leave the house....
Guess this is the side effects of sub-par...
