Nothing about this place was Elite during my visit today, other than the disrespect from the employees, so I don't understand the high ratings at all. Plus, the food was terrible, so I definitely won't be back.
The 2 employees didn't greet me upon entering for a couple minutes, and I should have just walked out. It wasn't busy at all, as there were only 2 other customers sitting out front. Eventually the employee in the front came to take my order and I paid. They took the other 2 customers their food and I heard 1 come in and ask where the sauce was for their sandwich. They told her they were out, but when she asked for an alternative they acted like they had nothing else to give, which didn't seem right, so she just asked for some honey. I mean, if you only have 1 sauce, you might as well shut down the kitchen if you don't have it in stock or at least let the customers know when they order. I should have asked for a refund at that point, but I thought I'd at least try the sandwich, even though the unique apricot sauce was the only reason I came here. The employee in the front walked away and the one making the food told me it was ready, not bothering to tell me that it didn't have the promised sauce. I asked about the sauce and if there were any alternatives since that was the only reason I tried a sandwich, and he just said sorry we're out and pulled out a couple coupons for the future. Sorry, but I won't be coming back, and that wasn't what I asked for. As expected, the sandwich was dry and terrible. The melted cheese was the best part, but the bacon wasn't crisp as promised and the sausage was super greasy and did not taste good at all. The bun was buttered and toasted but still had no flavor somehow. Maybe the croissant would have been better, but it still wouldn't have saved the sandwich. I had high expectations for this place based on the reviews, but sounds like they stopped caring about customers...
