First off, there were two different items on the order and we only got one fork and a single napkin. Therefore, I had to walk back to the window to request another fork. A little bit more than halfway through the meal I realized that I had not gotten my protein. The other order also had protein. The reason it even came up was because my companion was asking what else we were gonna get since they were not full. And that’s when I said well we had protein and realized I had not had a single bite of chicken. When I went back to the window for a second time to make things right the young lady at the window went back to speak to whoever was preparing the order. He came to the window and started with a big sigh, then he commenced telling me that there’s nothing that he can do because I’ve already eaten most of the salad, which was not true. The salad was not filled all the way up to begin with, which was surprising given the container sizes. Either way, I told him that it was fine. Because I don’t know who’s gonna walk across in 100° temperature to come and essentially steal a few bites of chicken. To think this was my first and last time dealing with salad and go. If he’s the lead or the manager he certainly needs some training. Don’t worry though I’ll take myself back to Panera or Zupas :) I think it was Marley??. Since I cannot finish it on the survey, which all of a sudden froze. Kinda mimics the service...
Read moreMy family has stuck by Salad and Go for years even after finding more than one live bug in our lettuce (years ago in the early franchising days) and even after biting on more than one kalamata olive that still had a pit inside. I don’t expect perfect service, but after waiting in line for 15 minutes, only to get home and realize that they forgot to include the dressing, there was no number listed for me to call and give a heads up that I would be coming back to get it. I even brought the salad back with me to show that it really was without the dressing. While going through the drive thru again, I noticed I was missing tomatoes as well, but decided to let that one go. I would have appreciated something more than an afterthought of, “Oh sorry, here,” after telling them that I had been there an hour before and only now was able to find the time to come back. We will still be loyal customers but wanted to offer some food for thought (horrible pun) in addressing (also a bad pun) how to right a situation with the customer when a critical component of the order...
Read moreNew update: well, when I first started going to this place. The salads were big enough to divide it into two salads. Now it seems the salads got smaller. Recently I notice the bowls aren't half as full as they use to be. Don't get me wrong I still this place and their salads but you don't get as much as you use too...if you order extra protein (chicken) you don't get enough lettuce for the extra meat you ordered. I had to ask for extra lettuce. The attached picture shows hardly no lettuce. And I didn't ask for extra meat. But its over loaded with meat no lettuce. It looks half full compared how it use to be.
Older review: Awesome they are almost right across the street from me. Thank you Ok, employees are always pleasant and professional.
