Update: It's been a week since I posted my original review. During that time Einstein Bros. did reply and indicated that they would look into my complaint. Since then, I did stop in for breakfast and I immediately noticed a positive change. The place was bustling, the wait for my sandwich was minimal, staff seemed happier, and my food was back to the quality I would expect. I'm not quite ready to give them a glowing recommendation yet. I will monitor this a bit longer before changing my review. I hope in the future when Einstein Bros installs a new manager at a location, they take the time to make sure the manager is both qualified and ready to assume the role and responsibilities. They can also gain a wealth of information and feedback from the staff long before customers like me feel the need to raise an issue.
Previous: What happened to this place? I use to love getting Bagels and sandwiches here. Not so much anymore. All the familiar faces that use to help me are gone. The new staff is slow and no one seems to smile except for a girl named Mariah, she is always great when I see her. But lately I don't see her as often. Another helpful and friendly staff member is Sean. The food: Sandwiches use to have eggs cooked perfectly, and neatly assembled and wrapped. Now the eggs are dry, burnt on the edges, and the rest of the sandwich is a mess when you try to eat it. I never use to have to worry about my order, it was always great. Now I have to check my food before leaving the shop. I shouldn't have to do that. After inquiring, I found out that the shop has a new manager. His name is Elijah. That the previous manager was moved to another faltering location. I suspect that the new manager is responsible for the large number of sudden staff departures, poor staff moral, lack of product quality, and poor customer service. Now Einstein's has a new faltering location. Upper management should take a closer look at what's going on here. I'm sure that I am not the only one observing this. Einstein's use to be my obvious choice, now I find myself looking...
Read moreWe’ve been reading some of these reviews, and honestly, my husband Bill and I are just saddened especially by people we thought we knew for years! Bill, our grandbabies, and I have been coming here for a long time, and since Elijah took over, we’ve seen such positive changes. We were just there last week, and what a blessing it was to walk into a store where we feel truly welcomed instead of like a bother.
Every time we visit, Elijah or one of his team greets us with a smile and makes sure we’re taken care of. The grandkids especially love stopping by, hoping for one of those warm chocolate cookies from Elijah or sweet Grandma Sharon, as our little Kimmie Mae calls her. It’s the little things like that that mean so much to them!
I was heartbroken to see some of these negative reviews, especially from John, Allan, and Allan’s stepdaughter Ryn. After reaching out, I learned what they’d been told to write, and it just broke my heart. It seems some of the long-time staff whom I’ve known for years are behind this. So terribly sad. But God knows the truth! In the end, it reflects on their character, and we’ll be keeping them in our prayers.
The truth is, Elijah hasn’t even been at this location a full month yet, and already, the service difference is clear. As real, loyal customers, we truly appreciate the excellent service we’ve been receiving since the change in management. We’ll keep coming back because of him!

Read moreI came here on my break at work to get a breakfast sandwich. It was PACKED. I know it was a Saturday morning, but my personal philosophy is that good restaurant is big enough to reasonably hold all of their customers during a rush. There was NOT enough room at this location. They also need to have enough staff to make everyone's food in a reasonable amount of time. I was impressed that it didn't take more than 10 minutes to get my food, so they get an A in that area. Now for the food. I got a bacon and egg bagel. It was almost $6. The bacon had very obviously been cooked in the microwave. This was the biggest problem i had. I'm expecting flimsy microwave bacon when i get a $3 breakfast sandwich at Jack in the Box, not a $6 sandwich at Einstein's. I guess I was wrong. The only reason i would ever come back here is if I'm at work and need something close by. The combination of not having enough room and paying $6 for flimsy microwave bacon is why I'm giving this place 3...
