McDonald's — Restaurant in Chandler

here let me share my MAGICAL story... so i was sitting on my couch at about 2am, and i thought “mcdonalds, i really want a mcdonalds ice cream.” so then i went to my mom, who just had surgery, and i was like, “yo i want some mcdonalds ice cream” and she was all like, “yo let’s do it, yolo, i really wanna mcdonalds sundae.” so there we were driving down the road with me, my mom, and my cousin, waiting with anticipation for our delicious treats. we were almost there when we realized there were no lights on. we were all like, “wait wait wait wait didn’t the website say it was open 24 hours?!” we were OUTRAGED. so we double checked the website and there it was, the magical phrase saying that it was indeed open for 24 hours. so with hopeful hearts we went through the drive through anyways, thinking maybe the lights would turn on if we went through. so my cousin rolled down the window and was all like, “ummm i really really REALLY want a mcdonads icecream cone and sundae. we waited for what seemed like decades just waiting. waiting for those magnificent bright lights, like your first few moments... in HEAVEN, and the worker, being like jesus, saying, “welcome, you did it, my faithful servant, welcome to mcdonalds!” but nothing happened. we all sat in the car full of disappointment and deep deep sorrow. so we drove through, and were forced to let go of our donaldsicous dreams, and go to the circle k next door to get some of the crappiest milkshakes in existence. we wished for heaven but instead we got hell. and that was my over exaggerated mcdonalds tale, i hope you have learned from our mistakes, and never EVER trust the closing times...

If I could put 0 stars I would. I never leave reviews, but holy smokes this needs to be said. Shut down the 2 McDonald’s on Alma school road. Each visit we have had, we have been treated horribly by staff, received atrocious quality of food (we know this is McDonald’s, but come on) and this last visit put the icing on the cake.

After ordering a bagel breakfast sandwich, a sausage egg and cheese McGriddle, and two large caramel macchiatos, our total was 25 bucks. No hash browns, literally 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees. Nuts. We went through the drive through where we were met with a horrible employee with a worse attitude who handed us our food with two small black hot coffees. We politely informed her they were large macchiatos, and she rolled her eyes and went to make them. She came back with two mediums, I pulled out of the drive thru and went inside to get this fixed. The manager inside insisted they were larges, (feel free to check the photos and correct me if I’m wrong) Zero regard for customers, atrocious customer service, and overcharging for the wrong items. The locations in Chandler are not worth your time. Go literally anywhere else. Wendy’s, Burger King, a dumpster, anything is better than almost thirty bucks for trash. My McGriddle was horrible, they put some weird ranch on my girlfriends bagel, not cream cheese like you would expect.

Avoid these places like it’s the plague.

Update: my girlfriend and I are both throwing up violently 15 minutes after...

Im leaving this review based on my visit on 06/22 at around 3pm. I ordered from the app for thw first time. I ordered a McDouble $5 meal and a double quarter pounder plain. There was an offer for free Med fries. I clicked and added. I paid. I went to the McDonalds the order was placed excited as it was rhe first time using the app. I get to the window and they hand me bags. I said to the girl" I didnt get my soda yet". She looked and explained since I got free fries from the app I didnt get the meal. What? I replied. I explained the what I ordered vs what I received cost me $.40 more but I did not get fries, drink and 4 nuggets that come with the meal which again is $.40 less. Manager came over and I explained the same thing. She said if you want to place another order you can. Wait what? I explained again. I figured a sofa and some fries minus the nuggets, all good. Nope she argued with me. I told her I just won't come to their store anymore. Her reply Not my money. This is the manager of the store. Not her money would worry me as an owner. 51 year Az Native. I've been going to that McDs since it opened. Before the manager was even born. $.40 and I get treated like I robbed the place and get ignored. I asked for the owners number and the manager refused. Said it's on the receipt. I called and mo voicemail. Sorry the rate is low because your manager needs to learn how to treat people and clean up mistakes that happens for an App...
